Celebrating a New Release In Rebecca Royce's Warrior Series

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of DRIVEN, the second book in Rebecca Royce's new YA paranormal/urban fantasy Warriors Series !

As a teenager, Rebecca Royce would hide in her room to read her favorite romance novels when she was supposed to be doing her homework. She hopes, these days, that her parents think it was well worth it.

Rebecca is the mother of three adorable boys and is fortunate to be married to her best friend. They live in northern New Jersey and try not to freeze too badly during the winter months.

She's in love with science fiction, fantasy, and the pararnormal and tries to use all of these elements in her writing. She's been told she's a little bloodthirsty so she hopes that when you read her work you'll enjoy the action packed ride that always ends in romance. Rebecca loves to write series because she loves to see characters develop over time and it always makes her happy to see her favorite characters make guest appearances in other books.

In Rebecca Royce's world anything is possible, anything can happen, and you should suspect that it will.

DRIVEN by Rebecca Royce
Book Two of the Warrior Series

My name is Rachel Clancy. Forty-six years ago, life as humanity understood it ended. Armageddon. Well, that's what we call it, anyway. What other term works as well to describe the day the Vampires and Werewolves slaughtered nearly all of humanity?

When Rachel Clancy turned sixteen, she inadvertently changed the lives of everyone around her. Now, six months later she has to figure out how to live with what has happened.

Sent back into the wilderness - this time with a new love - she will find herself face-to-face with two people she never thought to see again: the boy she thought she loved and the man who wanted to destroy her since birth. If Rachel can learn what drives her forward, there may be a chance for everyone to start again. If she fails, all is lost.

  1. Good morning Rebecca!!! So excited to have you with us again to celebrate your latest release DRIVEN!

This book is in your YA series - The Warrior, which is a great urban fantasy/paranormal storyline. For those not familiar with it, can you tell us a bit about your Warrior Series and how the books connect and what you have planned for the series?

And what else have you been working on? I know you have a lot of irons in the fire!

Hope you enjoy your party today and I hope DRIVEN is another bestseller for you, Rebecca!

  3. Hi!

I am so excited to be here today!!

Driven is the second story in the Warrior series. There will be five books in the series. It tells the story of Rachel Clancy, who is currently 16 years old, and trying to make her way through the turbulent waters of a post-apocolyptic world where vampires hunt humans for food while she falls in love, has her heart broken, and tries to deal with her father.

You're right. I always have a lot of irons in the fire. I'm writing the second book in my Conditioned series and then I have a whole slew of stuff up after that.

Thanks so much for having me here today!!

  4. Hi Rebecca,
Good luck with your new release! You certainly stay busy. Post-apocalyptic worlds are my favorite reads, and a Y/A should be very interesting-it's on my TBR.

  6. I totally agree that writing series and watching a character grow is the way to write. I imagine with a YA the potential for growth is amazing.

    Good luck!

  11. I love the sound of this series. I like the idea of a teenage heroine with all the other conflicts going on in a teenager's life. I mean if being 16 wasn't enough of a pain, she's got werewolves and vampires to deal with!

Do you have teenage girls in your family to drawn on or do you channel your inner 16 year old?

I'll be checking these out for sure - best of luck with the series!
