Kinky New Menage From Cheryl Dragon

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of DOUBLING ON DENISE a new book in  Cheryl Dragon's Raider's Bodyguard Service with Resplendence Publishing!

A lover of unusual things, Cheryl Dragon enjoys writing unique stories with sinfully hot erotic romance or suspenseful mainstream paranormals. Never at a loss for ideas, there are plenty of stories in her brain waiting to be written. Her two favorites book settings are Las Vegas and New Orleans...where anything can happen!

Cheryl lives in the Chicagoland area with her deaf albino cat. By day she crunches & analyzes numbers as an Assistant Controller for a division of a large international conglomerate which leaves the creative juices free for her erotic romance and paranormal suspense novels.

An ex who won't let go is a real nightmare for Denise. When he gets out of jail on a technicality, she turns once again to the only men who can protect her and know her secret desire for BDSM.

The Temple brothers are two of Raider's finest bodyguards and had a perfect record until Denise fired them a year ago.

  15. The Series...

    Raiders had four books.

Abducting Andrea is #1 (it's about Denise's cousin)

Pushing Penny is #2, a BBW...Penny is denise's best friend.

Backing Brian is #3 (m/m). Brian is Penny's brother.

And that brings up to Denise...

All four stories are bdsm erotic romance with a bodyguard situation at the core.

I'd planned this series with four books so this is it. but don't worry, I have another bdsm series starting up soon. It's more flexible and can be open ended. So don't worry, plenty more coming.

    And lots more menage coming:)

  16. Congrats on the new release, it sounds super good! I love menage stories and am definitely putting this on my wishlist. And I agree with you about your favorite cities. Those cities have such unique individuals and such a rich history for the creation of great stories.

  17. Glad you like it, Donna!! Ideas never stop...i have notebooks full:)

writing is a form of insanity, i think!

  18. Sherie,

New Orleans is so much fun! you get to experience a range of culture and fun!! Great seafood, jazz, and the architecture.

i also love the openness. a voodoo shop, being a spectator at a funeral parade, and ghost tours. there is so much history you can't get bored!!

authors after dark conference in there next year and we'll see if i can go!!!

my Lucky Springs series is set in Louisiana, somewhere north of N.O...it's a small town in the middle where. the first book, Joining the Party, is about a photojournalist who covered Katrina and the oil spill and now she wants some quiet home time. i have so much fun with that series:)

  21. Hey Tammy,

the books are stand alone and can be read in any order...but to get the most fun discovering the characters i'd read them in order.

and if you don't like m/m, you can skip that book and it won't ruin the others for you.

  22. My favorite scene to write was the last one.

finally they are free of the danger and get to travel and play. the happily ever after is always the best. the happy trio planning their future...and having sex on an open terrance:)

  23. my kitty....

is all white with very pale blue eyes (so maybe not quite albino technically) but she's deaf and very pink.

i got her from a shelter at about 6 weeks old (a little young but i've had kittens before and she was eating solid food and litter trained). she was dumped with the rest of her litter and walked all over me right away.

i had no idea she was deaf when i got her. it was a month or so before i realized she didn't react to noises. she's clever and paid attention to vibrations in the floor and watched me...so i tested it. clapping behind her head. no reaction. the vet said she's probably part siamese (which has an albino gene that makes them white at birth and their markings develop later). all blue eyes means a 25% of being deaf.

the vet advised to limit her direc sunlight to her skin didn't get irritated and no other pets because obviously the deaf one wouldn't hear a growl or a hiss...so for now i donate $ to the shelter and keep my one special kitty.

  24. anything i want to write but haven't??

no, i've tried most things i want. i do love a writing challenge...

i've tried a regency historical. a f/f, and sci fi.

but i've found that menage (and menage +) along with bdsm are my favorite and seem to get the best reader response.

Joining the Party is book 1
Birthday Party Surprise is book 2

    Book four releases in December:)

  26. Raider's is the last name of the owner and founder..old Mr. raider. so some of the bodyguards are actually Raider's (sons, nephews and cousins)....some are employees.

    isn't it great when a name fits a job...lol!!

hope you enjoy it even though i gave away the tidbit!

  28. Congratulations, Cheryl, on the release of Doubling on Denise! It sounds like a fun read, in fact - all of your books do and now I have some catching up to do~~

Questions: What kind of an environment do you write in? Are you in an office with a good chair or do you curl up on the couch with a laptop? Do you need to be alone to write?

I wish you much success- enjoy the launch party!

  29. i write anywhere:O) laptop on the couch, at my desk...i've written long hand if the idea is coming to me and i'm stuck elsewhere.

you get creative when you work and write....

i can write with people around and block them out. even at home alone, i leave the tv on for background noise.

    thanks for the questions!!!

  31. lol leni!! not that i can recall. people are much more likely to give me a funny look when they overhear what i'm talking about:) try talking about menage with your writer friends at the starbucks...

but i get inspired from anywhere. so you never know.

  34. Duh I was so excited I didn't type my question. I have two.
Do you listen to music at all when you are writing?
How do you choose names for your characters?

    musicalfrog at comcast dot net

    ReplyDelete
  35. lol Patti!

i'm not a music person...i like it but not while writing. i use tv as background noise. it's like white noise for me, i can tune out anything:)

character names are harder. sometimes they name themselves, other times its find and replace until the right name settles in:)

    thanks!
