UNTIL TWILIGHT
by Cerise DeLand and Desiree Holt

Book 3 in the Nemesis Series.

Isabella Sebastiani has the best instincts. For defusing bombs. But the moment she spots Lane Hallowell in the piazza in Florence, she knows her instinct for finding an irresistible lover has improved. Yes, she's to meet Lane for a job interview. Sì, her mind tells her to ignore his tempting good looks and his incomparable charm. But her body tells her to embrace him. And her heart demands she take him home with her. Into her arms. Her bed.

A seasoned security operative, Lane shouldn't be enthralled by a woman within minutes of meeting her. But the cool, professional explosives expert fascinates him and he's determined to protect her from harm. As the two of them track a group of terrorists from Florence to Rome and on to Paris, Lane and Bella learn that time doesn't matter when passion demands a future filled with love.

NIGHT MISSION by Desiree Holt

A 1 Night Stand Story

Navy SEAL Gabriel Walker didn’t think he was asking too much, just a hot woman with some brains who made his down time between missions pleasant. And maybe a little bit more.

Forty-something Maggie Fitzpatrick wanted a younger man with a sex drive to match her own and even smarts to hold a conversation. And maybe a little bit more.

When Madame Evangeline paired them for the one night stand, neither of them expected the explosive chemistry, the very hot sex...and a little bit more.

  7. Let me tell you a b it about Nemesis. Cerise and I wanted to write an erotic thriller series, something a bit beyond the standard romantic suspense. Something that would also take the reader to exotic locations (thank god Cerise is well-traveled!). And we wanted it to be run by women, very strong yet feminine women, very smart. And the men who love them would have to be alphas so comfortable in their own skin that they weren't threatened by these women but supported them. And so the series was born.

In UNTIL MIDNIGHT, the manufacturers are in a group wishing by hook or by crook to take over the world.

  28. In Greek mythology, Nemesis (Greek, Νέμεσις), also called Rhamnousia/Rhamnusia ("the goddess of Rhamnous") at her sanctuary at Rhamnous, north of Marathon, was the spirit of divine retribution against those who succumb to hubris (arrogance before the gods). The Greeks personified vengeful fate as a remorseless goddess; the goddess of revenge. The name Nemesis is related to the Greek word νέμειν [némein], meaning "to give what is due", as in the word "economy".[1] The Romans equated the Greek Nemesis with Invidia.[2]

Also: A source of harm or ruin

  55. The Georgian era is a period of British history which takes its name from, and is normally defined as spanning the reigns of, the first four Hanoverian kings of Great Britain (later the United Kingdom): George I, George II, George III and George IV. The era covers the period from 1714 to 1830, with the sub-period of the Regency defined by the Regency of George IV as Prince of Wales during the illness of his father George III. Often the short reign of the fifth and final Hanoverian king King William IV (1830 to 1837) is also included. The last Hanoverian monarch of the UK was William's niece Queen Victoria who is the namesake of the following historical era, the Victorian, which is usually defined as occurring from the start of her reign, when William died, and continuing until her death.
