Celebrating Declan Sands' New Release

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a new release for author Declan Sands.

INADVERTENT VOYEUR by Declan Sands

A man gets invited to a friend's log cabin for the weekend. It was supposed to be couples but his girlfriend has to cancel at the last minute. That night he hears his friend having sex with his girlfriend and discovers there's a hole in the chinking of the wall between the bedrooms. He doesn't mean to watch, but he sees the hole in the chinking and looks through. He has trouble tearing his gaze away. He's discovered and the couple invites him to join them.

  1. Super congrats on the new release Declan!!! You've been pretty busy and have a lot going on this year - what fun!!

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your new book and let us know what you have in store for us this year.

I read the excerpt and really enjoyed it - but wasn't sure if there is M/M going on or not, tell us about the menage and if we can expect to see more menage from you in the future...cause sometimes two just isn't enough!!! ;)

Hope you enjoy your party today and wish you much success with the new book! Thanks for the great giveaway!

    1. Hey DeNita,

Oh yeah, there is definitely m/m in this one. In fact it's a story about a man's discovery that he's interested in that kind of action, which is always fun. I'm sure I'll be writing more menage stories in the future. I don't have anything specific planned right at the moment, though.

Right now I'm busy finishing up a m/m romantic suspense that I'm really excited about. This will be Book 1 of the Hoale Construction m/m series. Here's the blurb for that one:

Adam Hoale owns a construction company called, predictably, Hoale Construction. When he finds an eye opening surprise in the walls of a house he's flipping, and a libido flaring surprise standing on the lawn, he's willing to do the right thing with the surprise in the wall while entertaining dirty thoughts about the surprise on the lawn.

But as the world finds out what he discovered, and his new boy toy seems to be keeping too many secrets to make a relationship a reality, Adam soon realizes he may just get flipped himself if he's not careful.

    2. Hey Dina!

I'm so glad you stopped by. I know, it's just human nature to peek isn't it. In this case Mitch got a lot more than he bargained for when he peeked! LOL

    1. Hey Runner10,

I also write under Sam Cheever, for mainstream romantic suspense and fantasy, and s.i. decker for young adult.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Congrats on the release. You are a new to me author, are your books stand alones or part of series? Why did you choose a male sounding name to write under?

    1. Hey June!

I've written both. The Blood-Hound books with Changeling Press are a series. I'm also getting ready to launch the Hoale Construction Mystery series. Inadvertent Voyeur is a stand alone.

      Thanks for coming!

  8. Congratulations on the new release. If you were peaking like he was and got caught what would you do? Are your characters ever based on people you know?

    1. Hi Sherry!

I'd probably do what Mitch did! LOL

I think I've woven bits and pieces of lots of people I know in my characters. But nobody is entirely one person. That would just be too weird. LOL!

Thanks for coming to my launch party!

  10. I love the name Declan for a hero. How did you choose it for your author alter ego? Was it a family name or just something you liked?

    Congratulations on the new release!

    1. Hey Stacie!

Actually, the name is based on my family name and I really liked it too, which is why I used it, even though it's technically a man's name. But since I'm writing m/m I thought it was appropriate!

Thanks so much for coming to the party!

  11. Congratulations on the book! The book sounds very interesting. What was the inspiration for the book?

  12. Hey BN100!

This is one of those stories I've been carrying around for years and finally took the time to write. When I started writing it I was kind of shocked by how hot it was. LOL But every story is what it is. That's the hardest thing as a writer...understanding that our stories really are already written when we start to type them up. Our job is just to get them on virtual paper. #:0)

I'm glad you stopped by, happy reading!

  13. Congrats on the new release. Is the man interested in voyeurism before this or is he just nosey? This book sounds intriguing. Can't wait to read it.
