Celebrating A New Release For Rebecca Royce

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of Rebecca Royce's hot contemporary romance BEHIND THE SCENES.

As a teenager, Rebecca Royce would hide in her room to read her favorite romance novels when she was supposed to be doing her homework. She hopes, these days, that her parents think it was well worth it.

Rebecca is the mother of three adorable boys and is fortunate to be married to her best friend. They live in northern New Jersey and try not to freeze too badly during the winter months.

She's in love with science fiction, fantasy, and the pararnormal and tries to use all of these elements in her writing. She's been told she's a little bloodthirsty so she hopes that when you read her work you'll enjoy the action packed ride that always ends in romance. Rebecca loves to write series because she loves to see characters develop over time and it always makes her happy to see her favorite characters make guest appearances in other books.

In Rebecca Royce's world anything is possible, anything can happen, and you should suspect that it will.

BEHIND THE SCENES by Rebecca Royce

Kyra Soloman has been a successful actress in Hollywood since she was fifteen years old. Now, about to turn thirty, she's had enough of the scene. She wants to move to New York City and rediscover her love of acting.

Brent Hallow is the new 'it' guy in town. He's recently starred as a vampire in a teenage angst movie. He's also twenty-four years old, and the fact that Kyra is attracted to him makes her feel very old.

But one hot night at a Hollywood house party will show them both they share more than the love of acting...and the real desire for rough sex as well.

  2. Good morning Rebecca and super congrats on the new release!!

Love the cover - tell us a bit about the book and if we'll ever see the characters again - seems lots of opportunities for stories with these Hollywood players - lol.

Enjoy your weekend and your launch party and I hope the new release is a HUGE seller for you!

  3. Morning Debbie - I can answer that one for you - YES CAPTAIN is a wonderful and hot sci fi by Rebecca Royce - we just need to talk her into writing more!

  4. Way to go, Rebecca! Keep those hot stories coming.
(((Kimber waves her pom-poms and does cartwheels.)))

  5. Congrats Rebecca on the new release.

The first genre I fell in love with was time travel romances & it didn't seem to matter whether the main character was thrust back or forward in time, have you ever written one?

  6. Debbie-Yes, as DeNita told you, I have written a Sci Fi. It was called Yes, Captain. I have plans for another Sci Fi soon.

    Kimber-Thanks so much for coming.

Kathryn-I have not. I give people a lot of credit for writing them. I find them amazing! I love to read them too.

  7. I'm with Kimber. I've seen several of your books up for various awards. How do you feel about that sort of thing?

  8. How fun, Rebecca! This new release sound fun and hot! Is it a stand alone?

I know you often write series, too--do you start out intending to write a series, or do certain places/characters just demand revisiting? :)

  9. Donna-I am always so honored that first someone has taken the time to nominate my book for an award and second that people vote for me. Who doesn't want to be recognized for something they've worked hard on? I hope to continue to tell stories and to hear from readers that they've enjoyed them.

Flchen-This is a stand alone. It is the only purely contemporary (non paranormal, fantasy, etc) that I've written.
Usually I don't start out thinking it will be a series but my characters seem to like to do that.

  10. Congrats on the new release. It sounds really good.

What was your favorite scene to write?

  11. Elaine-The second half of the book when they are together in NYC.

  12. I like stories with older women and younger men. This story sounds sexy!

  13. Hi Rebecca! Congrats on your latest release! Your constantly putting out books (which is awesome). How long does it take you to write a book?
