Celebrating A Sexy New Shifter Menage From Cheryl Dragon

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of MOONLIGHT AND MUSTANGS a sexy shifter menage from Cheryl Dragon  and Resplendence Publishing!

A lover of unusual things, Cheryl Dragon enjoys writing unique stories with sinfully hot erotic romance or suspenseful mainstream paranormals. Never at a loss for ideas, there are plenty of stories in her brain waiting to be written. Her two favorites book settings are Las Vegas and New Orleans...where anything can happen!

Cheryl lives in the Chicagoland area with her deaf albino cat. By day she crunches and analyzes numbers as an Assistant Controller for a division of a large international conglomerate which leaves the creative juices free for her erotic romance and paranormal suspense novels.

MOONLIGHT AND MUSTANGS by Cheryl Dragon

Phases Series, Book Eleven

Mustang roundups by the government are nothing new out west. When two horses turn up on Diane's ranch, she isn't shocked until they turn into hot men then have sex in her barn.

The shifters ask for her help, but letting them stay the night turns into much more. All the extra hands help with the chores and fulfill her needs...but wild mustangs deserve to roam and Diane won't saddle them - bareback is a much better ride!

  2. Congrats on your latest release, Cheryl.

I have a non-book related question: Does your cat purr? I was thinking because he/she is deaf it might not, but purring also produces vibration the cat could feel and reproduce. Some scientists also say it's an innate trait so all cats can do it.

  3. Happy Release Day Cheryl!!!

Loved the excerpt and love how you explained how they can shift. Beautiful excerpt - felt their freedom and fear!

I have to say this is my very first horse shifter story! Have you ever read one?

For those who don't know about the Phases series, can you tell us about it and how the books fit together. You have another book in the series as well, right?

Glad we can join with you to celebrate your release day and hope the new book is a bestseller by the end of the day!

    Have fun!

  17. The Phases series features 6 authors, each with two books.

My first book was m/m/m Taken By the Pack released in Jan 2011.

The books are all shifter menage and connected by featuring the phases of the moon.

There will be 12. Brynn Paulin has the final one next month!

  18. LOL Donna. I was totally expecting that joke at some point:)

  19. Normally I get a lot of input on the covers. A form I fill out etc...

For this big series with so many authors, we put in info on # of people and general descriptions and what sort of shifter...but the moon and the general theme of the covers was determined by the publisher to keep a consistent look.

I'm thrilled with this cover! very hot:)

  20. Menage is hot.

    Too many??

too many men in a menage? four is my limit. i've never put more in a menage. that's be really complicated:)

too many menage titles? not as long as the readers want them. things trend in and out but i think the fantasy of more than one guy is pretty strong. I do mix in a m/f light BDSM from time to time to keep things interesting.

  21. Research? well I love Nevada and I've been there. beautiful rugged and open.

the mustang round ups were covered on the news and i read up on the articles.

other than that, it was a lot imagination on the shifters and making all the characters happy.

that's the fun of paranormal erotic romance. the rules are up to you somewhat.

  22. up next?? I have a older woman/ younger man super short coming out in December....

then in January, Back in Dreamland...Book 2 in the 7th Kind series. Menage + and a bit of the x-files fun.

  23. Other uncommon shifters??

I guess it depends how people feel about the mustangs. I thought it was so cool and unique. But people might prefer wolves who hunt than horses that run wild...

it always comes back to the reader:)but I'd enjoy it!

  24. Do you let anyone read your stories as you're writing them or does the story have to be completed before anyone gets to see it?

  25. my books are done before i let anyone read them. most are shorts or novellas so they aren't super long...

i like getting the reaction to the entire story:)

  26. Congrats on the release. I don't think I have read any books about shifters who change to horses. I don't think I could be around them, I am allergic to horse, lol.

  29. other than mustangs? i think i like the big cats. In Halloween Switch, the hero is a jaguar shifter;) loner, lethal, and hot!

  31. Ooh... more Dragon shifters? YAY! Glad to hear about this new release, Cheryl! I'm not sure I've read mustang shifters before--this sounds like a good one! How do you keep all your stories straight as you work? Do you write only one at a time? Or do you switch between stories, depending on your mood or schedule?

  32. I love your books, they are so enjoyable. Why did you first start writing about shifters? Was there another author or book that you read that gave you the idea for a shifter book?

  33. Hi Cheryl,
