Celebrating A New 1 Night Stand Story From Stacey Kennedy

Today at our Cyber Launch Party, we're celebrating a steaming hot new release for Stacey Kennedy and Decadent Publishing's 1NightStand Series!

Stacey's novels are light-hearted fantasy with heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again.

Her journey as a writer began as a way to keep her brain alive since being a stay at home mom can sometimes be a little...let's say numbing. It was an escape from screaming kids, dirty diapers and plain old mom duty.

It started as a hobby, but as the stories progressed it became a passion. Now, Stacey indulges at nap time, especially the juicy bits! Every mom needs a good thrill!

ALL SHE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS IS HER DOM by Stacey Kennedy

A 1NightStand Story

Madame Eve's 1NightStand service has brought together Blake and Taryn on a cold Christmas Eve at the Castillo Lodge. The two will set out on an adventure of pain and pleasure surrounded by Alaskan snow-capped mountains and nestled in a warm country lodge.

But as the night develops, Taryn discovers it's not Christmas presents that will surprise her but instead the very man who mastered her through a night of intense BDSM.

  1. Good morning Stacey and super congrats on your new release!! Wow - now this is a hot one, yes? Great cover!

For those who may not know about the 1NightStand Series, can you tell us all about it and about the holiday anthology that is coming out?

How many 1NS stories do you have out now? Any more in the works?

Hope you enjoy your cyber launch party today and hope the new book is your biggest seller yet!

  2. WOOT! Celebration time! Thanks for the introduction.

Yes, All She Wants For Christmas Is Her Dom is a sizzling story. I think it might just be my hottest one yet.

The 1NightStand series from Decadent Publishing revolves around a matchmaker, Madame Eve. She pairs people together to find their perfect match. It could just be a steamy night or maybe even to help them find their happily ever after.

Right now, I have five 1NS stories out, and I'm sad to say that this story will be my last for this line. I have too many other projects demanding my time. But I'm excited to say that all my 1NS stories are being packaged into a print edition. So that's something very exciting to look forward to!

Thanks everyone for joining in with the celebration today!

  3. I adore this series. Its one of the best series that I have read from anyone. It has something for everyone and I mean everyone.

Question for you on print, are they going to print yours together or just in an antho-type print book? There are quite a few authors that have more than one book in the 1NS series.

Congratulations on the the release and I can't wait to read it. I love a good BDSM story. :)

  5. One other question...when will the print books be available?

  6. Marika - They are packaging all of my 1NS stories into a print version. So all five in one pretty book! Decadent is working on a cover as we speak, so I'm not quite sure as to the release date. Maybe we could hold another cyber party when it comes out. *nudges DeNita*

    Thanks for stopping by Hales!

  7. That's great Stacey. There are some many stories now, its hard to keep up. :) That's a good thing.

I'm sorry that you are not going to write any more for them. :(

  8. Marika - It is disappointing that I'm not doing anymore. I really love the series. It's a very fun world to write in, but my deadlines on other projects just won't allow it. :(

  9. One more question before I go (gotta go pick up my son in Dallas), are they going to continue the series forever? What I mean is, are they going to keep the series going or do they plan on stopping it at some point?

  10. I'm not sure to be honest. I hope they don't stop the series since I really enjoy the books, but you'd have to ask Decadent Publishing that question. :)

  12. Hi Stacey and super congrats on this new release, it sound fantastic. Can't wait for your print version too come out, I'll keep a lookout for that!

As an author myself I'm curious, Do u have somewhere special you go when u write the juicy stuff? I finished a WIP end of last week but had to go to the library because my laptop died on me and the librarian was great and put me in an area with only 1 computer for some privacy but it was right next to the childrens section so I felt way wierd when I was editing one of the steamy scenes, I could only sit and giggle. When in my own home I normally write after my kids are in bed or in school.

Thanks so much for your delicious writing!

  13. Thanks Regina!

Krista - LOL! I can't imagine writing a sex scene in a public place. I always write them when the house is quiet and the kids are at school, or after they go the bed. But putting you next to the children's section is funny! I'd get a good laugh out of that too!

  15. My husband got a chuckle from it too. Does your husband read any of your books? Mine actually does a read thru mainly to check for grammatical errors but not sure how comfortable he would be on the more steamy ones.

  21. Jen B - I have two new series coming out in 2012. Keep an eye out for Supernaturally Kissed and Werewolves Be Damned. Both are fun series and I'm counting down the days until release! ;-)

  22. Krista - My hubby hates to read so he has never read any of my stories, but I read him snippets of some...and that he does love! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Bookwyrm369 - I don't listen to any music while I'm writing, but sometimes I'll listen to songs right before to get me in the mood for the emotion I need for the scene.

  24. June - I need coffee. I can't write without it.

  25. Julianne - My favorite genre to write is urban fantasy romance. I LOVE it and have two new series coming out in 2012 of this genre. It's great fun!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Melissa - I never dreamed I would write erotic romance and BDSM at that! I started out as a paranormal romance author and it's just kinda developed from there. My muse likes to get naughty every once in a while to keep things interesting!

  30. flchen1 - Of course! I keep all my favorites out in the open so I can look at them everyday and be reminded of the fantastic stories! ;-)

  31. Chris - My favorite genre to write in is urban fantasy romance. I love the adventure mixed in with the fantasy elements and also the romance. I'd LOVE to write a historical, but I'll never do one. LOL! I'm not nearly patient enough to do all the research to pull it off. I'll leave that to the experts! :)
