Celebrating Ursula Sinclair's New IR Suspense

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the sexy third book in Ursula Sinclair's  The Guardian Agency Series with Decadent Publishing.

WINE AND ROSES by Ursula Sinclair

The Guardian Agency Series - Book Three

Eboni Stiles thought Simon Blackcat was a walking, talking mass of perfectly packaged testosterone trouble. She made it a point to stay as far away from him as possible. Especially after that one night, she lost her mind and slept with him.

After she witnessed a murder, Simon's the only man who can protect her from the danger hunting her. But while hiding out on a mountain top alone with him, who's going to protect her heart?

An evening with Eboni was not enough for Simon, not even close. So when Eboni’s life was in danger, he was the only man he trusted to protect her. Because those chasing her would have to kill him to get to her, and Blackcat did not die easily.

  1. Good morning Ursula/LaVerne, Super congrats on the new release!

I love romantic suspense and your Guardian Agency Series. For those not familiar with the series, can you tell us a bit about it and how the books fit together? Do they have to be read in order?

How many more books to you plan for the series or is it an open-ended series?

Btw, WOW what a sexy cover - LOVE IT - that guy can protect me anytime! ;)

Enjoy your party today and I hope WINE & ROSES is your biggest seller yet! Have fun!

  2. Hi AI,
Thank you for having me. This was a fun series to write. First of all you should read the books in order. They all begin around different points of a wedding involving the first heroine, Shanna. But the stories are about the 3 owners of the Guardian Agency, Ross, Noah and Simon and the women they fall in love with. All three men have been assigned individually as bodyguard to the woman they're in love with. Two of the women in the story are also sisters.

This particular part of the series was a trilogy and it's over. But...at the end of Simon's book I do introduce some characters that will show up again in another spin off series.

And yes the cover model Jimmy Thomas is fantastic. He's never taken a bad picture. lol

  4. Congratulations once again! I haven't had a chance to start it yet, so shame on me. But the first two in the series were wonderful. I couldn't put them down. I've waiting for Simon. ;) It will be sad to see the trilogy end.

It's nice to have your footsteps to follow in this world.

  10. Wow, LaVerne/Ursula! Congrats on your latest release--sounds like a great trilogy! Did you start the first book knowing it would be part of a series, or did that come to you as your wrote? Do you usually plan ahead when you create a series?

  11. Hi Fichen-
When Noah and Simon showed up I figured I had a series. lol so it came as I wrote it. Sometimes I plan a series before I start to write other times the writing drives that. I believe in listening to my characters tell me the story. So if a character shows up and tells me he or she is going to want their own...well I listen. lol

  13. Hi Jillianne- Thank you it's one of my favorite covers. I'm like most authors I've been writing stories from the time I could hold a pen. I'd read a book and make changes to it as I read it or thought up another ending. I didn't so much as know as I just did it lol.
