RENEE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION by Cheryl Dragon
Nude photos, a prom fistfight, and losing the two men she loved are three good reasons for Renee not to go to her reunion. But Renee always pushed the boundaries.
High school was ten years ago but she's never forgotten AJ, her boyfriend, or Jesse, her gay best friend who was her first lover. Though she's determined to heal the past with two great men, even Renee is shocked when she finds out what has happened since she left Vegas.
AJ and Jesse have plans for her that start with a hot reunion weekend. Menage love is a gamble, but the trio graduated with honors from Las Vegas High!

Good morning Cheryl and super congrats on the new release!! What a fun cover - Renee looks like she's having the time of her life!
ReplyDeleteTell us all about the new book and your favorite thing about these characters.
You've always been a busy author, but now that you're writing full-time, I can't imagine what this year has in store for us readers...All I know is I can't wait to find out!
Enjoy your party today and hope RENEE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION is your biggest seller yet! Have fun!
Morning everyone!!1
ReplyDeleteLol...yes, I'm writing full time which means I get to be here for blog parties instead of after work:)
Plenty of books coming. Look for one a month...
I just finished a novella that is outside of my schedule so we'll see where I send it and who buys it....menage + fun:)
As for Renee and her guys..I love this story. I love these characters...
Renee is bold and strong. She knows who she is and doesn't care what people think. I'd love to be more of the free spirit she is!
AJ tries to keep everyone happy but has some secrets everyone at the reunion didn't know. he was the popular job. His struggle is what brings them all together and he's a lucky guy.
Jesse is the creative and loveable one who wants to protect everyone. he's the heart of the story. an artist type who loves hard.
reunions aren't easy but they were all like Renee's a lot more people would go:)
Great post, I was wondering if you ever base any of your books on things from real life?
ReplyDeletelead[at]hotsheet[dot]com
hi Virgina,
ReplyDeleteI did have a friend in high school who sort of inspired Renee. She was a bit on the wild side but a good friend who hung with the misfits.
so i'd say real life inspires ideas but i take that and twist it to the fantasy outcome and happy ending we'd all love to have:)
thanks for the question!
It is mentioned that your favorite books settings are Las Vegas and New Orleans, do you get to visit there for locations to use in your stories?
ReplyDeleteskpetal at hotmail dot com
Hi Jean,
ReplyDeleteI've been to both locations but I don't get to visit as much as I would love to:)
The thought of reunions brings up so many emotions in people. Did writing this story have you reliving your school days?
ReplyDeletelenikaye@yahoo.com
lol, leni.
ReplyDeleteyes, in many ways. the friendships. the groups. how you feel like no time has passed when you run into some people...
i put in plenty of secondary characters that felt familiar. renee's good female friend is a great example of how true friends are there for each other...i still have friends like that from high school.
Oh my another HOT story. I have to say I've never even been tempted to go to my high school reunion but maybe if I had what Renee has waiting on her...

Very cool story idea Cheryl! The cover is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHaving been through a couple of HS reunions myself, I can appreciate the surreal hilarity that can and will ensue when people try to 'go back in time for one night'. I love this idea. Happy release Day!
yep, Donna! If there were two hot guys ready to make it this much fun...it'd be a lot easier to face the drama:D
ReplyDeletethanks Buffi! it's a funny how people fall back into categories and yet have grown over the years...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt if my High School Reunion would be this much fun. Would yours?
marypres(AT)gmail(DOT)com
oh, no way! but that's the fun of fiction. taking reality and making it so much more satisfying!:)
ReplyDeleteand the reunion isn't all easy and fun...there are the jerks Renee and her guys have to deal with...so its not all perfect.
I was considered the quiet and studious type during my student days. What category were you in during high school?
ReplyDeletei was the quiet/studious type too, Lil. I hung out with some of the misfits though:)
ReplyDeleteRenee sounds like a fun girl, we had a few like that back in the dark ages when I was in school. I haven't ever been to a reunion either, never wanted to. Do you ever see yourself writing another genre?
ReplyDeleteseriousreader at live dot com
i think a lot of people don't want to go to reunions but it's fun to imagine a fantasy reunion:)
ReplyDeletei enjoy writing erotic romance but i also love mysteries...someday maybe;)
Congrats on the new release. It sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteWill this be a series..will we see other characters from this reunion get their own books?
elaing8(at)netscape(dot)net
no, i hadn't planned on this being a series...
ReplyDeletebut Renee does have a friend in the story who has potential if I find the time:)
Ooh, how fun! I do love reunion stories, Cheryl--this sounds like one hot take! And excellent--I see elaing8 asked my question... hope you'll find time for a sequel ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for celebrating with us!

Congratulations on this book, it sounds awesome. A really great idea for a book, I've never been to a high school reunion and not sure if I would want to go to mine...would you?
