Celebrating A New Short Story Collection From Darrell Bain

Today we are celebrating the release of Darrell Bain's new short story collection OOPS!

If you’ve never read Darrell Bain before, then now is the time to consider picking up one of his books. Darrell is without shadow of a doubt a natural storyteller. His individual, highly creative style of writing, often humorous, flows at a natural reading pace that has you drawn into a story before you know it.

Multiple awards under his belt from Fictionwise, EPIC, and Dream Realm, give testimony to the fact that Darrell Bain is a huge talent, his skills producing everything from short stories to novels. His inspiration comes from almost everyday things and occurrences in life. Who else could write the story (Bark!) of Tonto, an ADHD-afflicted, one-testicled little canine, who turns out to be the only thing that can prevent an unintentional invasion from aliens? Darrell also writes in partnership with other authors, with none other than Travis S. Taylor being one of them.

WEBSITE

Oops! is the third collection of stories by Darrell Bain. When Cupid and a Gremlin bump heads, the sparks fly in a rare fantasy story by the author. Others stories in the collection include A Simple Idea, an almost ludicrously simple method of eliminating corruption and idiocy from the political process, one that has been around for centuries but gone unrecognized. Cure for an Ailing Alien finds a nurse who must come up with a cure for an alien, one whose bodily processes are completely unknown. You'll be amazed at her cure! Retribution is the story of unexpected consequences when alien meets human. Robyn's Rock is partially based on a happening in the author's life during a walk with his granddaughter.

The collection is completed by: Coyote Scare, A Steel Trap Mind, The Furniture Formula, Golden Years, Why Read an eBook on Your Computer?, PSI Ability, Another Furniture Formula, The Jack Daniels Bug, Math Madness, The Naughty Bed, and Samantha's Talent.

  11. A day n an author's life varies. Most days I write some, other days I decide to read instead. Then ther are the idiot dogs to take care of. They each ahve a book about them. "Doggie Biscuit" is a true (well, mostly) story of Biscuit's life as a people and "Bark!" is a science fiction story of an ADHD dog like Tonto saving hte world from an alien invasion. Some days i work on my monthly blog, Bainstorming, which goes live at my website around the 1st of every month. And some days are just helping Betty around the house and wondering when the next royalty check will show up and how much it will be. Authors have to buy groceries just like everyone else!
