Yes, this is the first time Cerise and I have collaborated and it was beyond wonderful. Our styles blend so well, we take each other's critiques very well and we brainstorm well. I love working with her. this is the first in a six-book series so I am really jazzed about it.

She and I have been buddies for years and live not too far from each other, so we know how to get together, drink wine and margaritas and in general, get into trouble.
One day we said, hmmm. What do you do with 2 authors who love to read and write romantic suspense and who think the romantic thriller genre needs more writers? Our series of Nemesis is what we cooked--and with UNTIL THE DAWN, we cooked really well.
Threw in what she and I know individually and made it rock.

Yes, actually we do. We seem to have an uncanny ability to get into each other's minds and toss out ideas easily. Example: I am not a fan of regencies but I've read every one of Cerise's because she wrote them...and loved them! We have what I'd call the best of all possible relationships.

ReplyDeleteWe are already committed to two other projects (with two other authors) plus another project just the two of us. It's just a matter of managing your time and not committing to deadlines you can't meet. But we work very well together so we're able to set timelines and balance this with our individual work.

They can actually be read as stand alones. Each book will refer to people and palces in the pervious books but there will be a broad enough reference that you won;t be lost. Of course we'd love it if you'd buy them all! *wink*
