Celebrating Sandra Sookoo's Sweet New Romance

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating Sandra Sookoo's sweet new contemporary romance!

TWELVE KISSES LATER by Sandra Sookoo

Can you find true love in a kiss? How about a dozen?

Lucy Duckworth is comfortable with her life and in her own skin, and her habit of picking up orphaned cats is charmingly noble. Yet when her roommate asks her to fill in at a kissing booth during the Winter Carnival, Lucy's even-keeled existence suddenly tilts.

Matthew Kincaide has one simple motto: live off the land, keep your head down, don't talk a whole lot and never trust a woman. Divorced and not about to give a female control over him again, all he wants is to deliver his animals for the petting zoo and go home. Too bad his annoying brother coaxes him into buying tickets for the kissing booth.

Lucy's and Matthew's first kiss ends with a violent sneeze, but she can't forget that first lip-tingling, take-me-away moment. Though Matthew's shocked by his first reaction, he lines up for a second chance. Surely lightning can't strike twice. Will winter fun and a random accident derail their quest to find out how many kisses it takes to fall in love?

  4. Thanks for having me on the blog today! :-)

Yes, I'm having a very busy October, but sometimes you don't get to pick your release dates LOL

Yesterday was the release day for TWELVE KISSES LATER, which is the first book in a new sweet romance series. I thought the idea of a kissing booth was charming and the cover is just awesome :-)

Today, major gears were switched with the release of an erotic sports-themed antho HOOKED UP: THE GAME PLAN. It's the third hooked up antho I've been in this year and my story, Hole in One, is a humorous take of a game of strip mini-golf :-)

And finally LOVE IN THE MOONLIGHT is a collection of three Halloween shorts. Isn't that cover gorgeous? :-)

    Any questions, just ask!

I was wondering why you choose to post about Disney every Thursday? BTW I love the premise of a kissing booth for your story.

    1. Hey Z. :-) Why do I post about Disney every Thursday on my blog? Um...because I'm a Disney nut! And I wanted to have something on my blog that a lot of folks can relate to. :-)

  9. Congrats on your new release! It sounds really sweet and funny. You write in a variety of genres, which one is the easiest and which is the hardest for you to write?

    1. Hi Susan. Which genre is the easiest to write? Well, that depends on each individual story. Each of them come with their own challenges. Which is the hardest? That also depends LOL Writing shorts seem to come easiest for me. But on my longer works, I outline ahead of time so I won't end up in a mess later :-)

My question...would you ever participate in a kissing booth...either as the person behind or the one buying tickets??

    1. Hi Stephanie. Would I be the kisser or the kissee? LOL Probably not. I'm too much a chicken.

  11. Sounds so sweet!

My question is: I know that holiday stories need to be written MONTHS in advance of the season. What did you do to help yourself get into the holiday spirit when the season was so far away?

    1. Hi Jen. Twelve Kisses Later actually isn't a holiday story. It takes place in January, but lucky for me, we had such a horribly hot summer (when I wrote it) that the air conditioning was kicked onto high all the time anyway lol
