Celebrating Missy Martine's New Galactic Nuptials Release

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating Missy Martine's hot new M/M/M sci fi shapeshifter menage, MEREDITH'S PRIDE, the third book in her popular Galactic Nuptials Series!

MEREDITH'S PRIDE by Missy Martine

Galactic Nuptials Book Three

Meredith Carter is lonely and just wants to find someone to love. The nice people at Galactic Nuptials assure him that some of their clients prefer male mates.

The leader of the Chaarta pride sent all their cubs into hiding with Delsin and Etu when the war started. Now, they're all that's left of their pride. They're desperate for a mate to care for the five small young ones. When they find the picture of the lovely creature with long brown hair in Galactic Nuptial’s catalog, they know they’ve found their mate.

It’s too bad they didn’t read the small print. What’re they going to do when they find out "Meredith" can be a male’s name too?

  1. Good Morning Missy and super congrats on the new release!

I think it's so great the way you can fit so many different subgenres into this new series of yours - I mean the sky is indeed the limit!

For those not familiar with your Galactic Nuptials Series, can you tell them more about it and how the books fit together? How many more books do you plan for the series?

Hope you have fun today with your cyber launch and here's to MEREDITH'S PRIDE being a huge bestseller for you! Have fun!

  2. Good morning, everyone. It's great to be here again with Author Island celebrating the release of my newest book. Galactic Nuptials is a company that specializes in finding brides, or mates for people all over the galaxy, and in this case, in other galaxies. The owner, Tarooka Meekers, has special 'abilities' that allows him to find the perfect mate for anyone, even if they don't think they need one. Each story is stand-alone, so you can read them in any order.

Meredith's Pride is about a pair of lion shapeshifters that have been left in charge of their prides cubs. They were involved in a war and the only ones left are 4 adult males and 5 baby cubs. They need to find a mate fast to help care for the small babies. They get a copy of Galactic Nuptials catalog and are drawn to the picture of a beautiful young woman with long brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. They immedietly send a communique claiming Meredith, and send one of their pride mates to fetch her. It's too bad they never read the fine print, and no one told them that 'Meredith' could be a man's name.

There's a lot of humor, romance, and a few surprises from the pride's enemies to keep you on your toes.

Again, a very big thanks to Author Island for hosting me today and I hope to get lots of questions to answer. I'm looking forward to giving away a copy of my new book.

    1. Thanks Laura, Not sure which series you mean 'with aliens" but my next book will be the sequel to When Kat's Away called "Forever Eva" - Then there are around 10 more books in the Wolfen Heritage Series planned, plus a few more Galactic Nuptials - not sure of the order yet except for 'Forever Eva' - it's definitely next. Thanks for stopping by today and good luck in the drawing.

  4. Hi Missy! I Loved book 2 Chameleon, so I'm anxious to read Book 3. Even better that this one has a twist. :) Are you planning more books in the Galactic Nuptials series? lorikingbooksATyahooDOTcom

    1. Hi Lori, Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you liked Chameleon - Yes, there will be more Galactic Nuptials but it will be a while - I'm going back to "Forever Eva" and then a couple of wolf books before I come back to Galactic Nuptials. Thanks for stopping by this morning and good luck in the drawing.

  6. Oh my I love the Galactic Nuptials books. I love the premise of this one. Where did you get the idea for this type of book, surprise male mate? ;) I'm giddly looking forward to it

    1. Good morning, Sheri - Thank you, I'm so glad you like the series. I went to school with a guy named 'Meredith' and he was not a happy camper. Teachers always assumed him to be a girl the first day of school, and he was assigned the wrong tent at summer camp. For some reason he just popped in my head when I started doing this series and I came up with a story to fit the circumstance. Thanks for stopping by today and good luck with the drawing.

  7. Oh how fun. I love surprise twists like that and the humor they can bring into things. I've never read a book that was just m/m or in this case m/m/m but I love a kitty shifter book and menages are one of my favorites :) Will have to check it out!

Congrats on the new release :)

    1. Hello Herding Cats - Burning Soup - There has to be an interesting story behind your name :) I love books that combine humor, romance and a little mystery, and I especially love shape-shifter books. Thanks for stopping by today and good luck in the drawing.

    2. It's such a good combination Missy and makes for a nice full experience in my opinion. I love when a book gets me fully engaged.

lol. I'm a herder of cats (run a rescue) and burner of soup (teaching myself how to cook-with lots of disasters along the way). I put together a blog at the start of the year and decided I wanted it to include the different parts of my life as well as books :)

OH! And I just gotta say I love all the animal photos you post on FB. They make my day :)

    3. Cool way to come up with a name, Anna - Guess you know I admire you for having a cat rescue - we rescued the 3 we have but I have to admit 3's my limit in a small apartment. I'm glad you enjoy the photos - they seem to make a lot of people happy.

    1. Hi Vanessa, Thanks so much for the kind words. I have been to the Lori Foster Reader Writer Get Together in Ohio for the last 2 years but so far that's the only one I've been to. I'm shopping around to find a couple of more to go to this coming year, but I'm in California so I'm hoping to find some a little closer to home. Thank you for stopping by today and good luck in the contest.

  9. Hi, I have not read this series at all but this book sounds so great, I will definitely be putting all the books on my wishlist! How do you come up with all the "alien" names?

    1. Hi Susan, I use an online site that gives Native American names for various animals. Primarily I've used variations of the Shoshone and Apache languages to make my names, sticking to ones that were appropriate for the animals in question. Thanks for stopping by and good luck in the drawing.

    1. Hi Donna, All the Galactic Nuptials books can be read alone. I introduce some permanent characters in Space Bride but I re-explain who they are in each book. You'll be fine if you start with Meredith's Pride - but I warn you, it'll make you want to go back and read the first two :) Thanks for stopping by today and good luck in the drawing.

  11. Hi Missy, I love the sound of this one. The trouble that can come from a name is well known to me.

How many genres do you write in besides M/M/M Sci Fi?

    1. Hi Ilona, Can't imagine trouble with the name Ilona - it's beautiful. Let's see, I've written contemporary menage, paranormal shapshifter, futuristic SciFi, Time travel, historic, paranormal m/m/m, and magical deity. Not sure there's too many left for me to try :) Thanks for stopping by today and good luck with the drawing.

  12. Heh! Great premise, Missy! I love how great stories can take off with just a simple misunderstanding ;) I hope you're celebrating this new release! Do you take any time "off" from writing, say after you finish one story, or do you pretty much write every day? How many stories are you working on now? :)

    1. Hello Flchen1, I'm guilty of taking at least a week off after I finish a story. I a readaholic and I have to give fair time for catching up on my favorite author's releases. I do try to write every day, but honestly my health makes me take days off every once in a while. Right now I'm working on "Forever Eva" which is the sequel to "When Kat's Away" and I'm working on the first 2 stories of my new Series - A Wolfen Heritage - The Next Gen - They're tentatively titled: "Blind Acceptance" and "An Officer and Two Gentlemen" - Those titles are subject to change :) Thanks for stopping by and good luck with the drawing.

    1. Hi bn100, Thanks for the congrats! No, I've been away from nursing for so long I don't think I do miss it. It was fullfilling back in my youth, but I don't think I have the patience or the stamina to do full nursing shifts now. Thanks for stopping by today and good luck in the drawing.

  14. I had to smile when I read the blurb because there have been so many times I didn't read something all the way through and discovered I'd purchased or picked out the wrong item :)
Did an experience like that influence you while writing this story?

    1. Hey Leni, No, I went to school with a Meredith that was definitely not a little girl - even though the teachers always thought he was on the first day of school. For some reason I thought of him when I started on this series and the story was born. Thanks for stopping by and good luck in the drawing.
