Celebrating Virginia Cavanaugh's New Ellora's Cave Release

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating Virginia Cavanaugh's new release, SEDUCTIVE REUNION, with Ellora's Cave!

SEDUCTIVE REUNION by Virginia Cavanaugh

It should have been a simple evening. Go to the high school reunion. Have a couple of drinks. Share a few laughs. Easy peasy. Until Special Agent John Clayton walks in and turns Andi Morgan’s life upside down.

He makes her want things…deliciously wicked things. But Andi's past complicates matters. Her ex-husband  - and local senator's son - Steve Hidel is in deep shit with the Havenk brothers, a shady pair of gunrunners, and they all want something only Andi can give them.

Andi wants to trust the safety she finds in John's arms, but she soon discovers he might have ulterior motives of his own.

Virginia Cavanaugh is a multi-published author of erotic romance. Her work covers many sub-genres as new characters present themselves to her every day. After working for years as a nurse in pediatrics, her love of the alpha hero sparked her desire to bring her own stories to life.

When not playing house wife, mother, maid, laundress, taxi driver, or just general all around slave, she enjoys finding a quiet corner to read or work on her next story.

  1. Good morning Virginia and super congrats on the new release with Ellora's Cave!!

Tell us all about your new book! It sounds fantastic and I loved the excerpt - can't wait to read it!

Your first couple of releases were paranormal and your latest have been contemporary, which do you find easier to write? For those not familiar with your other releases, can you tell us a bit about them and what you're working on now?

Hope you enjoy your cyber launch party today and I hope SEDUCTIVE REUNION is your biggest seller yet!

  2. Hello Virginia!

Wow, poor Andi. She sounds like she is stuck in a horrible situation. High School reunions are scary enough without adding ex-husbands and gunrunners into the mix. John sounds like a great hero but I'm concerned that he might betray Andi in order to do his job. It sounds like an exciting story. Congratulations on the new release!

  3. Thank you so much for having me here today. :) Seductive Reunion happened to be one of those stories that just fell in my lap one day. I didn't get to attend my own ten year reunion, and I got to thinking about a friend of mine that died a few months after our ten year reunion, and was sad that I had missed the chance to see him one last time before his early departure from us. No, he wasn't a romantic interest or anything, but it did get me to wondering about the possible second chances at things like this. And Seductive Reunion was born.
Contemp is way easier to write than paranormal, but I just love my paranormal stories. But I also seem to fight tooth and nail to get them finished.
I have two paranormal stories out with Liquid Silver Books. They've both received great reviews and there will be more to come on that series. I also have a romantic suspense out with Liquid Silver Books, titled Winter's Shadow. It has received multiple five star reviews. Mixing Business with Pleasure was my debut Ellora's Cave release.
Currently I am working on a paranormal book that will include were-wolves. I lack about four chapters from having the first draft done. I am also working on a companion story to Seductive Reunion. In Seductive Reunion you will meet Margo, who just had such a personality that I couldn't help but give her her own story. Also I am working on the third book in the Order of Night series. So lots to come. :)

    2. My editor has already seen the short version of her story and she as well as my CP are really excited about Margo's story. But I will be adding somewhere around 15k to it. :)

  4. Ooh, how cool, Virginia! I love connected stories! Will definitely be looking forward to Margo's! Are the two LS paranormals the Order of Night series? Do you have a set number of stories in mind for it, or just "as the muse leads"?

Do you celebrate or commemorate your releases in any special way? New bling? Framed coverflats? Dinner out? :)

Congrats again on Seductive Reunion! I do love reunion stories--something about getting a second chance that hits a sweet spot!

  5. Yes, the paranormals with Liquids Silver are the first two in the Order of Night series. Secrets of Night and Deceptions of Night. There will be around 7 to 10 books in that series, with room to spin off related series.
For this release my Hubby took me to dinner and a movie. Just so happened that Avengers came out the same day that Seductive Reunion was released. But I don't really have a set pattern that I do for release dates. Most times it's like a normal work day. Writing, kids, laundry, dinner and such. :)

  11. Thanks bn100! I don't know that I per se have a favorite. It's easier to write contemp then any other. But I enjoy each story I create. :)
