Celebrating A Sexy New Menage From Sara Brookes And Ellora's Cave

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of CHASING SIN, a sexy new menage from Ellora's Cave and Sara Brookes.

CHASING SIN by Sara Brookes

Every spring, Kate risks her life chasing violent storms. Tired of watching her take unnecessary chances, two of her closest friends offer a different thrill. Devoted lovers Snyder and Tripp don't just share a passion for nature's fury; they long to have the fearless woman between them.

Though she is reluctant, she also knows the proposition is too irresistible to refuse. Her acceptance leads to an explosive night of no-holes-barred sex for the threesome. However, when morning dawns, she realizes this type of unusual relationship isn't one she belongs in.

Despite her best efforts to keep the men at arm's length, Kate finds herself facing down the storm of the century with them at her side. When Mother Nature intrudes, the trio discovers shelter in each other's arms. With the hurricane raging outside and passion raging inside, everything is at stake.

Sara Brookes is a multi-published author who has always been fascinated by the strange, the unusual, the twisted and the lost (tortured heroes are her personal favorite). She is an action movie junkie, addicted to coffee and has been known to stay up until the wee hours of the morning playing RPG video games. Despite all this, she is a romantic at heart and is always a sucker for an excellent love story. Born and bred in Virginia, Sara still lives there with her husband and daughter. The entire family is owned by two cats, Galahad and Loki, who graciously allow the family to cater to their every desire.

  1. Happy Saturday Sara and super congrats on the new release with Ellora's Cave! This released while you were at RT right? Hope you did some fun celebrating while you were there (between the oops moments you wrote about on your website! LOL)

Tell us about your new book, how much research did you have to do? I think storm chasing is so thrilling - would love to do it myself - so I can't wait to read your book. I can ride along with Kate and her guys (sexier and safer! LOL).

Hope you enjoy your party today and hope CHASING SIN is a huge bestseller for you!

  2. The research for this book was absolutely fantastic. One of those times when the work didn't seem like work at all. I've always been interested in all things weather related, plus, I grew up and still live on the East Coast, just a few miles from the coastline. That means hurricanes are a very real possibility every single year. So I already had a bucketload of firsthand knowledge when it comes to violent storms. Add in my affinity for tornado chasing (it's on my bucket list!) and writing menages and viola a book is born. :^)

Let's break out the margaritas, it's time to party!!

(Since I'm in a partying mood, there may be a few surprises in store today. Stay tuned!)

  3. Happy Cinco De Mayo Sara. Sounds like another hot one. I bet you don't watch the weather channel the same anymore either. My husband and I say we want to be wherever Jim Cantore isn't. :-)

  4. Wow, Sara, congrats on this new release--storm chasing is such an exciting thing to read about! And yes, it does seem that storms are very much a part of life in many parts of the country! Is this Chasing Sin a stand-alone or do you foresee returning to this world?

  5. Donna, I love that comment about Jim Cantore!!

flchen1, Chasing Sin is totally stand alone. I would love to work with more storm chasers, then I can put this knowledge to even more use!

  6. Hi Sara,

I always enjoy a sexy menage story. What was your favorite scene to write?

    Happy Cinco de Mayo!

  7. Cathy, I think the first chapter of the book was probably my favorite to write. You're brought into the story right in the middle of a tornado chase, so there's lot of action and energy. After things have calmed down, the men try to get Kate to understand the consequences of the actions she took - so emotions are running high the entire chapter.

  8. I love friends to lovers stories. There is always a fear that the friendship might be destroyed if the romance doesn't last. I'm sure that is part of her reluctance to pursue a relationship with the guys. It sounds like a great story. Congratulations on the new release!

    1. That's exactly right, StacieD! She is reluctant, and rightly so as their choices of careers (all three chase storms of some kind - - the men both fly with the Hurricane Hunters!) isn't the kind of environment to start up a triad relationship.

      Thanks!

  9. Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Living I SoFl I also know about Hurricane Season. THe medical center where I worked was in the direct center path of Andrew back in 92, fortunately I lived north of that area and was able to return to a safe house each evening. I became the cigarette, grocery & Ice person for some members of the DMAT team from Colorado who came to help.
Next month is the start of Hurricane Season.
What do you have on hand right now for supplies?

    1. My goodness, Lori - glad to hear you were able to help out the workers during Andrew. Bottled water is always a must. Spare flashlights and extra batteries too. Those especially came in handy when Hurricane Irene barreled through my area last August and we found ourselves without power for nearly a week. Non-perishable food as well. Huh, you can really tell I've live in a hurricane area all my life, can't you? LOL

    2. I can't believe you have all that on hand already. I have to start stocking up again. I jump the end of the season a little and give all my canned goods to the Fall Postal Workers Food Drive for the local food banks.
The kids seem use up the batteries as we buy them, so I always keep extra on hand. Of course we have a small generator on hand also to keep the freezer and a few lights running, as well as lanterns to hang on the back porch.
My last minute buy items are Dog & Cat food, chips, cookies and crackers.

Congrats to Donna on winning the T-shirt

    4. I think it comes from living her for so long, you just get used to having those kind of items on hand at all times--not just for hurricane season. Especially since we get Nor'Easters too that are just as bad as hurricanes.

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by, Shadow - and hope you like Chasing Sin!
The triad relationships I've written so far have mostly dealt with the two men as a couple already (or darn near close to it) and the woman enters the picture. I'd like to write a story where it's either the m/f already together and an additional male enters or even have no relationship status at all between the three and allow the relationship to blossom on all sides at once.

    1. Oh fabulous question, bn100 and without a doubt I think Richard Riddick is one of my favorites. He's a total anti-hero and I, quite honestly, eat that kind of stuff up. Of course, it helps I'm a total sci-fi geek too. LOL
