lol is right!! well in lucky springs book 4, there is a wedding. and what woman doesn't want to look good standing up in a wedding? so getting caught cheating on the diet was a great way to get the men into her lives in a far deeper way;)

The next books comes out in August. That factory on one end of town has been expanded and a lot of hot single men are coming to town for jobs. Plus there are more jobs in the office where our heroine is working. she is actually coming home to good 'ole Lucky Springs...

Lucky Springs is a small town in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana...but you really want to live there:)
ReplyDeleteIt started with some sex parties in private homes. You can watch or be watched and if you like to share, well you'll find others who do as well. When and where the parties are is a secret but once you're on the list, you'll get the emails. Out of these parties grew an acceptance of menage and more relationships.
Those who know, know...those who don't remain blissfully in denial. Book one is about Cassie and her three hot neighbors. Book two is Cassie's cousin...Jessica's story (with four hot men and some business deals). Then Book Three is is super hot at the fire station with Lolly (the sister of a hero in book one) and her guys. Book four is about Ang (a friend of Cassie's) and her guys...and it also has Cassie's wedding!
That's how the first four books link up. All Lucky Spring residents who know and trust each other.
Yes, all the books contain m/m interaction, FYI.
The next four books in the series (beginning with Quality Assurance in August) are the stories of four female friends who move to Lucky Springs for jobs during this recession crunch. That factory in Lucky Springs is expanding and they are hired in the office for various roles.
Each one gets a story and four hot men of their own who work in or around the factory/office. Romance on the job is complicated enough without falling for four men! But in Lucky Springs...it's just the way things work out:D
Oh, what's next now?? Well May 18th I have a new menage + (I write a lot of these, can't get enough hot men in a bed...).

ReplyDeletei don't havea any big rituatls. i'm most productive in the mornings so while getting coffee/waking up/showering i get the story of the day in my head. where was i, the characters and what they want (other than each other:) and after checking the emails and twitter/FB for anything pressing....I dive in.
I try to write 5k Monday-Friday. so it's a job but capturing the best time for creativity is a weird part of it! thanks for the question!

ReplyDeleteChangeling Press only puts up to 3 characters on a cover (so it doesn't look too crowded) and these are menage + stories. I couldln't leave anyone out so I decided to use the title as the signal that it's menage + and the cover features the heroine.
so no, nothing special other than there are four men. these are groups of men out there fighting paranormal evil so you need enough men to make a good fight and fuel the spells with their sexy energy...four seems to work:D

dragon...I always loved dragons. and unlike my real last name, it's easy to spell, pronounce, and isnt' easily mixed up or confused.

1. Do the books need to be read in order or can they stand alone?
2. Who was the hardest person to let know about what kind of books you write? (mother, grandmother, father, adult children, etc) Is there anyone you don't want reading your books because it would embarrass you?

ReplyDeleteYou don't have to read the books in order, they can stand alone. main characters from one book may be a secondary character in another but all the info you need for that story is in there;)
my mother and father don't need to know:) lol. it might shock them more than embarass me.
