Celebrating A New Children Of The Moon Novel From Lucy Monroe

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of book four in Lucy Monroe's wildly popular Children of the Moon Series, DRAGON'S MOON.

DRAGON'S MOON by Lucy Monroe

Children of the Moon Book Four

Bestselling author Lucy Monroe returns to her “stunningly sexy” paranormal world where one woman has but one choice for her people’s salvation—her sworn enemy...

When Eirik, the only living dragon shifter, and prince of the Ean, killed her brother, Ciara was left alone to face her prophetic dreams. Now, in order to find the wolves’ sacred stone and save all the Chrechte from destruction, she needs her enemy’s help.

Eirik was only protecting the children of his people, but that day in the forest left a mark on him as well. Controlling his dragon’s fire is the most difficult thing he’s ever done—until he and Ciara are forced to face not only their shared tumultuous past, but a hallowed bond stronger than they realize. As avowed enemies and predestined mates, their quest ushers them into a world of great danger, and a passion hotter than the dragon’s fire.

Award winning author Lucy Monroe sold her first book in September of 2002. Since then she has sold more than 50 books to three publishers and hit national bestsellers lists in the US and England.

She's a passionate devotee to the romance genre and loves talking writing, the industry and books with other writers as well as readers. Her highly charged, sensual stories touch on the realities of life while giving the reader a fantasy story not easily forgotten.

Whether it's a passionate Harlequin Presents, a sexy single title for Kensington or a steamy historical or paranormal for Berkley, Lucy's books transport her readers to a special place where the heart rules and love conquers all.

  1. Good morning Lucy and super congrats on your new release!!! It's so great to have you here at the Island launch party again!

For those not familiar with your Children of the Moon Series, can you tell us a bit about it and how the books fit together? Should they be read in order?

Tell us about this world you built to Children of the Moon.

The book officially releases on Sept 4th, but has there been any sightings of it on the shelves yet?

I hope you enjoy your Cyber Launch Party today and I hope DRAGON'S MOON is a huge bestseller for you! Enjoy your day and the rest of your holiday weekend!

    1. Thank you, Vanessa. :) Actually, I don't. As long as there's another story to tell when the one I'm working on is finished, I'll keep writing them. :)

    1. Thank you tons, Hotcha! It's almost unbelievable that I'm past the 50 mark and just going on. LOL And it feels absolutely incredible when a book does well enough to hit a bestsellers list because that means I've connected to that many more readers. :)

    1. So glad you enjoy the series! I try very hard not to need to work on more than one book at a time, but it doesn't all work out that way. :)

    1. Thanks! Most authors will tell you their favorite book is the one they are working on and that's usually my answer. But I love this book and Dragon's Moon is truly one of my faves. :)

  11. How do you not have more comments on this?
I had no clue that you had more books in your Children of The Moon series. I have the first two and didn't have a clue until today there was more. Is there a genre that is your favorite to write? Is there any genre you wouldn't write?

    1. Hi, Tiffany. Thanks! I really love writing all of them but my imagination gets to take ultimate flight with the paranormal/fantasy. :) I'm not sure I could write horror. I'm way too fond of the HEA. :) Or did you means romance genres and then I'd have to say no. I believe in and enjoy reading about love - whatever form it takes. :)

  13. Oh your new book sounds great! How long has this series been around and how come I've never heard of it? I can't believe I missed it. Should the books be read in order?

    1. Hi, Sharon...thank you! The first book was published a few years ago, but the second release was a long time coming because of other writing commitments. I'm now focused on this series so the releases won't be more than 9 months apart. :) As for reading them, they *can* be read out of order. I try very hard to give glimpses of previous books without giving away important plot elements. Each book describes the world too in bits and pieces. :)

(There will be more, won't there? ;)) Hope you're having a terrific week--it's amazing how much you do! Hope you're enjoying family time, too!
