Celebrating A Sexy New Anthology Featuring Two Stories From Sandra Sookoo

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a sexy new anthology featuring two new stories from Sandra Sookoo.

HOOKED UP OVER SPRING BREAK

The secret fantasy, hooking up with someone, no strings attached, then walking away. While on vacation, has a hot body by the pool, someone strolling by or a fellow vacationer caught your eye and triggered the "what if" question? In a hot steamy situation, where it's all about blowing off steam and releasing some tension, three authors present five short stories about just that.

OLD HABITS by Sandra Sookoo

Acting as a chaperon to students in Clearwater, Florida, Jillian Elwood's determined to enjoy herself on her one night off before returning to her cold, solitary home in Michigan. She invites Cameron, the sexy concierge, to her room on the pretense of servicing her phone, but when she gets him alone, she hits him up for a more personal service, of the sexual kind--just the thing Jillian needs to round out her stay.

OUT FOR A SPIN by Sandra Sookoo

Travelling on the company dime, Kevin Russell only has business on mind, but when sexy co-worker Cara Sanders reminds him life's not all about work - sometimes one just has to sit back and enjoy the ride  - he happily takes her out for a spin.

ISLAND EXPLORATION by Emma Lai

Hoping for a little r and r - research and relaxation, of the sexual kind - Professor Josh Harper booked a bungalow at an adult resort only to find adult meant couples. Lucky for him, a marine biologist grad student stops by and offers her assistance.

LETTING HER HAIR DOWN by Emma Lai

Enjoying a quiet evening with her e-reader and a glass of wine at a local hotel bar, librarian Liza Chambers isn't surprised when Alex, a college frat boy, approaches her about helping him to win a bet. She agrees to help, but first he and his friend Mike have to assist her in letting her hair down.

TENSION RELIEF by D. L. Shorts

Wanting nothing more than to lounge by the pool, Rayne goes home with her college roommate, but when one of Kim's sexy relative offers to show Rayne the best way to ease her tension, how can she resist?

    1. Hi Donna! Glad you liked the video :-) When I was invited to join the antho, I went with the theme for spring break. That's how easy it was! :-)

    2. Donna, We had the Spring Break idea but each story was the brain child of the author :) The only thing we all knew is that the stories would center around Spring Break :)

    3. Hi, Donna. The anthology is just a theme, though we all agreed it was a great one and definitely fun to write. Aside from all of the stories occurring over spring break, there aren't any shared characters or settings. Though, we might consider something like that in the future! :)

  3. Thanks for having us on the blog today! Hooked Up Over Spring Break is a collection of stories with a spring break theme, all about giving life to that "what if" fantasy.

    1. Happy to be celebrating this new anthology with you guys! Do these stories have a HEA ending or a Happy for now ending or just "Damn that was fun" ending? LOL - not that it matters, I was just wondering!

    2. There's a little bit of everything in the anthology. There are some HFN as well as some with the possibility of HEA. There are also a couple that are just for fun. Letting Her Hair Down is actually a prologue for another story I have outlined, but that's all I'm giving away. :)

  5. Hi Sherry! Thanks for stopping in!

Author's Island--these stories are pretty much just "that was fun", some have open endings so you can make your own HEA in your imagination :-)

  6. Congrats on your release! YAY! Sounds like an awesome anthology! Why did you decide to write an anthology? Are your books connected? Just out of curiosity, are you left handed or right handed? Do you write more or type?

    1. Thanks, Shadow. I think anthologies are great ways to give readers a variety of stories to pick and choose from depending on their current mood. It's also an exciting opportunity for authors to write fun, quick stories.

I'm right handed and type, though I do miss the days of long hand.

    2. Shadow,

Thanks for stopping by. Like Emma, I think story collections are great ways for readers to get a taste of different authors :) I write right handed but type most things. I actually do not like to write things out. I have a slight deformity in both my hands and writing long hand for very long makes my hands ache.

  7. Hi Shadow! I was never so glad that I got a laptop! Only rarely do I write stuff out long hand anymore. I put all my outlines and notes in Word docs. Sometimes, I do notes long hand if the computer has already been powered down or if I'm out and about.

    1. Runner 10,

I guess I am just a naughty girl at heart :) I have a lot of scenes floating around inmy mind and I simply needed a way to file them away. Writing them down seemed like the best option :)

    2. My husband wanted me to write him an entertaining story, so I did. :)

  11. Congratulations on the new release! I loved the trailer and excerpt! Do you have a scene in your mind that you haven't been able to fit into one of your stories yet and if so would each of you give us a hint of what it is?

    1. Susan,

I can ALWAYS work a scene in....Most of the stories I write are short Eroticas that are single scene encounters :)

      Delete
    2. I actually generally start with a scene and then write the rest of the story around it, so if a scene gets stuck in my head then I stop what I'm doing and capture the characters on the paper. :)

  12. How fun! I adore anthologies and this has a great premise! Have any of you been in anthologies together before? Did you have a chance to read each others' stories before publication?

    1. I believe this is the first anthology for all of us. It was so much fun, we're doing more, and yes, we all had a chance to read all the stories before release. :)

  14. Hi Susan!

I can't say that I have an errant scene rattling around in my head. Sometimes I'll think of something then need to fit a book around it :-)
