Celebrating Lori Foster's Christmas Anthology Mass Market Release

Today we're celebrating the mass market release of YULE BE MINE, four wonderful Christmas novellas from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster now available in one mass market paperback.

Lori Foster first published with Harlequin in January 1996. Her second book launched Temptation Blaze and her 25th book launched Temptation Heat. Since those early days, Lori has routinely had 6 to 10 releases a year. She's a Waldenbooks, USA Today, Publisher's Weekly and New York Times bestselling author with over 50 titles published through a variety of houses, including Berkley/Jove, Kensington, St. Martins, Harlequin and Silhouette.

Lori believes it's important to back to the community as much as possible, and for that reason she ran special contests in conjunction with a publisher, facilitating many first sales for new authors. She routinely organizes events among authors and readers to gather donations for various organizations.

Along with her good friend, Dianne Castell, Lori hosts a very special annual "Reader & Author" event in West Chester Ohio. Proceeds from the event go to benefit worthy causes, including the Hamilton County YWCA Battered Women's Shelter, the Animal Adoption Foundation, and The Conductive Learning Center for children with spina bifida and cerebral palsy. CLICK HERE for details on next year's Reader & Author Get Together!

I've very much enjoyed your T-shirt project and can't wait to learn more about the project you're currently working on - heard you got to see the covers...

Any info you can share with us about what you have coming up?

Also, since we're talking Christmas anthologies today, can you and all the readers who stop by today tell me you're favorite Christmas movie?

  2. Hi, Lori! Congrats, and thanks for offering up some holiday cheer : )

I love the holidays, and I try to keep the spirit of Christmas in my heart all year long. There are so many wonderful holiday films, so it's hard to choose just one. A very special favorite of mine is "Prancer". Not only is it a great family film, it features the love of my life, Sam Elliott ; )

  7. Hi Lori, the stories in this book sound awesome I know it's not a traditional romance movie, but I really adored LOVE ACTUALLY, especially the scene where Mark holds up the signs to confess he loves Juliet, even though he knows they can't be together!

  14. Lori,
Looking forward to reading this one! A big part of my Christmas tradition is watching holiday movies (and reading a good story or two about Christmas) throughout December! I have two favorites - White Christmas and Holiday Inn. I just love old movies and these two are classics!

As for my favorite Christmas movie, I looooove "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and "White Christmas"...I know they are at opposite ends of the spectrum but what can I say? I am an eclectic kinda gal!

  16. Well I have one, but I don't know if TPTB call it a Christmas movie... The Bells of St. Marys, with Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman. I have to see it around Christmas, it's my personal tradition. It is shown around Christmas every year. I have another one of Bing's that I must see..White Christmas.

  18. My favorite Christmas movie is WHITE CHRISTMAS. As a matter of fact it is a tradition in our family to watch this movie at least once during the season (we still cry at the end). When my children where small we would watch the movie as we made name tags out of old Christmas cards, decorated the tree or baked cookies. My children (grown now) know all of the songs and dance routines. My daughters can perform the "Sisters" segment to perfection; of course they have had many years of practice. When my children left home and started families of their own they where each given a WHITE CHRISTMAS DVD to continue the traditions started so many years ago. I have such lovely memories of sharing this movie with my children and now my grandchildren.

Lori, I love all of your books, such lovely stories you have given to us, I anxiously await this Christmas story.

  36. Thanks everyone! Wow, so many comments. :-)
I'm sorry I can't thank everyone individually. I've spent the day writing on a single title that'll be the 3rd in a new series out in 2011, May, June and July.
Hunky guys and lots of action. Fun!

Someone asked if my characters are based on real, but no, they're not. Bits and pieces might be picked up from people I know or have met, but never the character as a whole.

I'm off for dinner and some R&R with the doggies. THey insist I leave the computer around 4pm. LOL

    Hugs to all!
