Celebrating Missy Martine's Hot New Time Travel Menage

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a new release in Missy Martine's historical Western ménage time-travel series!

FOREVER EVA by Missy Martine

Anna Doubles Down Series

Eva grew up knowing her mother came from the future. When Timothy Canders holds the family at gunpoint in an effort to make them summon the time-portal, she’s accidentally pulled in with him. But when she arrives in 2014, Timothy is nowhere to be found.

Tony and Zach investigated when two women disappeared from Hamilton two years ago. Imagine their surprise when a young woman, dressed like the old west, comes walking out of the old, broken down saloon.

Eva falls in love with her two rescuers but doesn’t realize a policewoman on the force will do anything to keep Tony for herself. When the young policewoman finds evidence tying Eva to the disappearance of the missing women she has to find a way to get back to her own time, or face a lifetime in prison. Will the portal allow the men to travel back with her, or leave them behind?

This title is offered at a 15% discount. Offer ends midnight CST, June 19th.

  1. Good morning Missy and super congrats on the new release!

For those not familiar with your Anna Doubles Down storyline, can you tell us more about it and how the books connect? Is this the last of the books or will you visit this world again?

Tell us about the research you did visiting ghost towns. That really adds a lot to your stories!

What do you have coming up next?

Enjoy your cyber launch party and I hope FOREVER EVA is your biggest seller yet! Have a great day and have fun!

  2. Thanks so much, DeNita. The Anna Doubles Down series was born when my husband and I stumbled upon the real ghost town of Hamilton, Nevada when we were on vacation. I was walking the quiet paths between the town and the old silver mine when I started imagining what it would have been like to have lived back when the town was in full swing. From there, Anna was born. The series starts with two best friends taking a vacation together. They get separated while they're looking around Hamilton and Anna ends up in the old saloon. She accidentally falls down the cellar stairs and wakes up in back in 1871 in the basement of the Silver Rush Saloon. There, she meets the two loves of her life and has to convince them she's truly from the future in order to stop a tragedy she knows is about to befall the town.

The second book, When Kat's Away, begins with Anna's friend Kat looking desperately for her missing friend in the ghost town. Before you know it, she finds her way to the saloon and discovers the time portal. It pulls her in and throws her out in the same basement as Anna, only 25 years after Anna gets there. Kat meets her two soul mates, but has to fight off an unscrupulous man who's figured out her secret.

The final book of the trilogy, "Forever Eva" is about Anna's daughter. She's always wondered about her mother's time but never expected to get a chance to experience it herself. She's in for a lot of surprises when she's pulled in to the portal accidentally and sent forward in time. She falls in love with her rescuers, but strange circumstances tie her to the case of Anna and Kat's disappearance. She's got to get back to her own time or risk going to prison for the rest of her life.

This is the end of this storyline. I enjoyed writing the time-travel romances, but I'm off to other things now. Who's to say whether I might visit Hamilton again in the future.

Next month, the first book in my new series "The Wind River Pack" will be released. Book 1 is called "Blind Acceptance". There are 12 of these books planned and they're based on the children of the characters from my series "A Wolfen Heritage" - Those of you that read that series must remember the children being born in the last book. Well, it's 25 years later and those children are all grown and looking for their own mates while fighting off an old, familiar foe. I hope you'll check in with my website and keep track of the coming books.

Thanks so much for having me here today, Author Island. I'm looking forward to connecting with the readers and just having a good time today.

    1. Hi Anne, The vacation that we drove through Hamilton gave me he idea of time travel, but I've always been interested in writing about the old west. It just sparked my interest as I walked along, the only sound the birds chirping, and I began to feel like I was in another time. It was pretty cool :) Thanks for stopping by and good luck in he drawing.

    1. Hello bn100 :) I'd travel back to the Wyoming territory in the mid to late 1800's. Not only would I like living back then, but Wyoming was very progressive in being one of the first territories to allow women to vote. Thanks for stopping by and good luck on the drawing.

    1. Hi Elaing - My favorite scenes were introducing Eva to our modern times. It was fun describing, and practically experiencing our modern conveniences through her innocent, child-like excitement. Everything was new to her from flashlights, cooking on a stove without building a fire, to taking a bath in a Jacuzzi tub. It was great fun thinking up new things for her to experience. Thanks for stopping by and good luck on the drawing.
