Today we're celebrating Duane Simolke's Fantasy Adventure, THE RETURN OF INNOCENCE.Majoring in English, Duane Simolke received degrees from Belmont University (B.A., 1989), Hardin-Simmons University (M.A., 1991), and Texas Tech University (Ph.D., 1996). His doctoral dissertation was on Sherwood Anderson's Winesburg, Ohio.
StoneWall Society gave Pride in the Arts literary awards to The Acorn Stories, Degranon, and Holding Me Together. AllBooks Reviews gave The Return of Innocence a Reviewers Choice Award.
Simolke also edited and co-wrote a fundraiser, The Acorn Gathering: Writers Uniting Against Cancer.

Celebrating An Exciting New Paranormal From Kit Wylde
Today we're celebrating Kit Wylde's new paranormal adventure, HIEROGLYPHS.
Kit Wylde is one of Marci Baun's pseudonyms. In Kit's persona, Ms. Baun is a little bit wilder than normal. (grin) Matter of fact, if she ever became a stripper (not going to happen), that would be her stage name. Instead, she settles for writing about exciting lives. As Kit, she has written the paranormal short story HIEROGLYPHS, the erotic romance novella LAST CHANCE published by Freya's Bower, the paranormal erotic romance chapter book series THE WHISPERING HOUSE, also published by Freya's Bower, and a couple of short stories in the Dreams & Desires charity anthologies.
As the publisher of both Wild Child Publishing and Freya's Bower, Ms. Baun has very little time to write. However, she is an avid reader and her interests interests include history, music, opera, theater, swimming, cycling, nature, travel, and writing. Before becoming a publisher and mom, she wrote and performed one person shows about historical women in schools, universities and festivals across the state of California, sang with the Coasters and the Drifters, Freddie Hart, as well as on the operatic stage, and composed music for a twelve minute musical, as a member of the Academy for New Musical Theatre. One day, she hopes to return to the stage.

Born in a decade that starts with an F, Ann now finds herself in an age decade beginning with the same dreaded letter. Her plan had always been to accept aging with the same effortless grace as any movie star with the last name of Hepburn, but now that her forehead is sliding down around her nose, and her neck attracts every rooster in the yard, she’s given up on grace and put her faith in a good moisturizer and turtle neck sweaters.
Ann had a B.A. in theatre and went to graduate school at the U. of M. in the M.F.A. acting program. She freelances as an actor and director in the twin cities area and has played everything from Eleanor of Aquitaine, to the third extra on the right with the gap in her front teeth.
Taking the advice from her father to heart, she never quit her day job. She works at a messenger service where the motto is: If you got it, a courier brought it. Her years in the business world have taught her a few valuable lessons: When designing a floor plan, never put your own office across from the bathrooms. All it has to do is snow to turn a great day to shit. It’s impossible to pick up a monkey at the airport, look him in the eye, and then deliver him to a testing lab. And transporting caskets, even when they’re empty, is just plain scary.

Celebrating A New Virtus Saga Book From Laura Tolomei
Today we're celebrating Laura Tolomei's new release, book three in her Virtus Saga - THE FESTIVAL!
Meet Laura Tolomei.
If you really want to know, I was born in 1965 in Rome, Italy, but soon started my travelling career. At the age of five, my parents took me to Lagos, Nigeria, where I grew up free and hot like I've never been since. I loved it there and still think of it with nostalgia. Anyway, it was also where I learned English.
After my African experience, I was ready to tackle the US. I lived in Atlanta, GA, five teen-age years, attending the Crestwood High School, where I started my writing career by publishing a short story Nostalgia on the Crestwood Journal. Very thrilled about discovering my new talent, I went ahead during college, writing for the Emory University journal The Phoenix. Three articles mark my first-and last-steps in journalism, "The peace Corps", "WAMM, Women Against Military Madness," and "Lesbism".
After my American experience, I moved back to Rome, but still kept living from time to time abroad, spending several months in Mumbay India, a country I always felt very close to me in more ways than one.
Today, I write both in Italian and English, mostly fiction of various genres, from fantasy erotica, to mysteries up to plain ordinary life stories.For those of you who read Italian, you can simply visit the Italian sections of my website, but if you feel particularly lazy, here's a short summary:

Celebrating A New Romantic Suspense From Marie-Nicole Ryan
Today we're celebrating the release of LOVE ME IF YOU CAN by award winning romantic suspense author, Marie-Nicole Ryan.
Marie-Nicole has had a life-long love affair with books. It was only natural she started writing her own. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee and loves every moment she spends writing. She's a member of ROMANCE WRITERS OF AMERICA and MUSIC CITY ROMANCE WRITERS, and Kiss of Death, RWA's Mystery/Suspense chapter. Lorelei James' New Release Kicks Off New Series
Today we're celebrating the release of Lorelei James' CORRALLED which kicks off her new Blacktop Cowboys Series.
When she's not squirreled away behind her laptop writing fun, sexy, contemporary erotic romances set in the modern day Wild West, Lorelei can be found reading everything under the sun, practicing yoga until she's a pretzel, shootin' her .22, watching the Professional Bull Riders tour on Versus, and running a kid's taxi service, all in the guise of avoiding housework and rustlin' up vittles.
Why does she have a particular fondness for all things western? Well, she's a fourth generation South Dakotan, living in the Black Hills, which is chock-full of interesting characters, including cowboys, Indians, ranchers, and bikers. The geographical diversity of the surrounding area showcases mountains, plains, and badlands. Living in and writing about rural settings gives her a unique perspective, especially since she's not writing historical westerns.
