WEDDING BELLES by Desiree Holt, Cerise DeLand and Allie Standifer

SOMETHING OLD

Brina hates weddings almost as much as she hates being a bridesmaid. There she runs into Adair, the man who left her at the whim of his family.

Adair made a mistake letting Brina go, but he’s back now. He has no intention of letting the woman he loves walk away without a fight or a night of soul-melting lovemaking to show just how right they are together.

Will a night of blistering passion be enough to convince Brina Adair’s back for good? Or will she let the past ruin her future. Either way only one thing is certain. Something old has never looked or felt so good.

SOMETHING NEW

Raine Fortunato tells herself that the mother of the bride should not drool over the younger, hunky, best man. Buff, blond, vagabond Scott McCoy should not be the something new she yearns for. Right?

But Scott sees his opportunity. Enticing slinky, sexy Raine to get wet and wild with him needs to happen. ASAP. The night before the wedding. So when he offers her the key to his room and she risks unlocking her craziest fantasies about him, she discovers in his arms earth-shattering climaxes and soul-searing intimacy.

Time now for Raine to decide if something new can be something more.

SOMETHING BORROWED

Zoe Fortunato was getting married to the man of her dreams. Right? Wasn’t Brad everything she’d ever wanted? Then why did she invite her old boyfriend to the wedding and daydream about threesomes she’d had in the past?

When Brad McCoy, the hunky groom, asks her why she’s so edgy the night before the wedding, she digs up the courage to tell him. She wants one last fling with Clay. And him. Both of them bringing her to orgasm every way possible. But will Clay agree to be “borrowed”?

SOMETHING BLUE

Clay Holbrook was still recovering from his wedding-eve threesome with the bride and groom, depressed that he might never find the happiness Zoe and Brad had. But when bridesmaid Kristen Jayne sidles up to him at the bar, every hormone in his body screams to get her naked as fast as he can.

During the long hours of the night they indulge in an endless, hot, erotic adventure, each using the wild monkey sex to cloak their inner sadness. But with daylight comes reality. Can they take what they’ve found past the rumpled bed sheets and into a life together?

TURN UP THE HEAT by Desiree Holt and Allie Standifer

SCORCHED
Kasey Jacobs spends her days as a bookkeeper for a discount furniture store and her nights writing erotic romances, still waiting to meet the man who could ring her chimes. Maybe her new neighbor, Skyler Brody… Too bad she hasn’t seen him since the day he moved in.

Then Skyler, a cop recuperating from a gunshot wound, spies Kasey pleasuring herself in front of an open window and nearly trips over his tongue rushing to introduce himself. The sex is instantaneous and hot, with all the explosiveness of fireworks.

But Kasey wants something Skyler isn’t prepared to give. Perhaps they can find a way to each other’s heart—if they don’t burn themselves out with their nightly erotic activities.

SCALDED

Reed Brody is head of the geek squad for the local police. At work, he’s intense and driven; after hours, he can’t help but use that same drive in his sex life. Too bad he can’t find a woman interested in a few bondage games.

Halli Wilson is a quiet coffee shop owner who also hosts sex-toy parties on the side. Too bad she can’t find a guy man enough to tie her up and take her down.

Halli only bargained for a month. Reed’s never wanted forever. Two people determined to keep it light make the biggest mistake of all by falling in love.

SINGED

River Brody knows love exists, but every woman he dates seems to be lacking that special spark. Until he attends an engagement party for his brothers and sees the woman of his dreams.

Kendra Jacobs is coming out of a bad relationship. When she sees River, Kendra thinks he may just be the guy to try her new wiles on. As long as she leaves before he does.

After spending one memorable night together, River knows he’s found the one person he’s meant to spend the rest of his life with. However, convincing Kendra proves far from easy.

STEAMED

Kira Jacobs is sick of always being the bridesmaid, never the bride. Sick of dating hot studs who have no more depth than the water in her sink. She’s determined to find a lasting meaningful relationship with a mature, suit-wearing man. But her goofy, stay-at-home neighbor sends her all kinds of hot signals.

Grant Havers left the high finance rat race after having a heart attack at thirty-eight. He’s done with living up to everyone’s expectations but his own. It’s time to go after what he wants. What he wants most is sexy Kira. He’s convinced her to try him out in bed, but she’s determined to leave it as sex only.

  5. Love anthologies! These both look great.
How do you come up with so many great stories? When the stories are connected , like in the wedding bells, do you write them together?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Both of these books sound great!

How do yo decide who is going to write which part of the story? Do you trade off on the chapters, or just the short stories? How difficult was it to blend two different authors such as yourselves?

Be safe, ladies! Have a great day.

  8. Hi Desiree, Cerise, and Allie!

I was curious and peeked at your websites. All of you seem to have such different backgrounds.

What started you on your path to writing erotic romance?

    ReplyDelete
  9. both books look great!! I love anthologies! are they being released in eBook too?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I think it's because we're so different that we work so well together. Not a thing in common but.the love of a good story. Honestly, they are SO weird and I'm the only sane one ;)

    ReplyDelete
  11. HELLO!!! So tickled to be here! This time of the month (???!! sounds like something else) is always a treat.

WEDDING BELLES was a story line that "came " to the 3 of us one weekend we spent together. Sounds ominous too, eh? But that's what happens when we buy wine.
    LOTS of wine.
    And Italian food.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Elaine, yes, we do get to send in suggestions for what we'd like on the cover. And we tell the designers the way the hero/heroine look and what might be the mood of the cover.
THIS is a marvelous treat to be offered to do this!

  13. Tamara, We wrote the series synopses together one day. Desiree types. (She is a whiz.) Allie and I lounge, eat and edit each other!!!
BUT each person did her own synopsis and wrote her story independently.
Together, we also decided whose story went first and why in the timeline. WEDDING BELLES occurs within a 24-hour period and you can actually come to the rehearsal party, dinner, and the morning of, then the reception!
THIS WAS FUN TO WRITE!!! i adore weddings.

  15. meanwhile....LIL! to answer your question about how we each got started: Our paths were all different.
But we met at our local RWA chapter!
I will let the others answer you for themselves, but for me, I began to think about writing erotica because I was paling around with DESIREE!
One day, I said, tell me why I should try.
    She did.
HERE I am almost 3 years later and LOVING IT!

  21. Hi everyone! I see Cerise and Allie have answered most of the questions. All of these books are available individually in ebooks and in print as anthologies. How did I get started writing erotic romance? A friend of mine sent me the information for an Ellora's Cave call for submissions for Valentine's themed stories. My husband happened to pass my desk and read it over my shoulder and said, Why don't you try it? You can write anything. (The man did love me to distraction!!!!!). So I bought some of their books, got a feel for what they were looking for and wrote Cupid's Shaft. And it's been a great ride ever since.

  35. Congrats on the new releases! I've read all four stories in Turn Up the Heat. They are so good. Will there be more books in that series?

    ReplyDelete
  36. SHADOW, YES, we did!
Barcelona for a whole week. Went to the Picasso museum there and on the walk over HAD to stop in the marvelous chocolate store where for nearly $5.00 a piece you could eat a huge disk (approx. 5 oz. ) of the most DIVINE choc. you can imagine. Then too we went to the monastery and church school atop Mount Serrat. The church is more than 1000 years old and the monks grow their own food, run a publishing biz AND make their own candy!!! THIS IS how they support themselves and the school. Of course, we had to have a bag of their candies. yum. Did we gain wt? no. You walk your tail off, so no.
WHAT ELSE? hmm. Do you like anchovies? Clams? FRESH lobster!!! omg omg! you can tell i like to eat.

    ReplyDelete
  37. AMY! WELCOME!

  40. Cerise, after reading Regina's Lawman, a cowboy sheriff who happens to be an Alpha shifter just GETS me! Or just a sheriff/ranger who is as alpha as he can be. :p I have no preference for setting. Have read contemporary, historical, time travel and flat out sci fi. Love them all!

As for a title..... Hmm... Garrick's Misfortune. Everything else sounds way too corny in my mind! LOL!

  41. Yep! Will post pix! On my blog. I put one up the other day on Goddessesofstorytelling blogspot of a HAM stall in the Boqueria (the market) in central Barcelona! HAM is a delicacy, aged forever and so succulent. Not like our fatty baked things here.
    I have gazoodles of Pix.
some...not so good but I was in Pr and Communications for decades and my first boss handed me a camera and said now remember the best and least expensive thing you can do is take every shot that appeals to you at the moment. so I do!!!

  48. Barcelona was great fun. I would go back and stay longer. Poeple are wonderful and the prices, not as steep as in France! We went to Sorrento and Portofino too where the price of everything is OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Our cab driver in Portofino was a civil engineer, age 35 and married with one child. He cannot get a job in his profession bec. of economic downturn--and so he drives a cab! Great fellow and spoke superb English.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Apparently not (emails). Can you post your email here and I'll email you?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Our ideas come from a lot of things. Sometimes we get together and just throw ideas out until we find one we like. We think about places we've been, things we've done, people we've met and play the What If game. You;d be surprised what our evil minds can come up with!
