BA Tortuga enjoys indulging in the shallow side of life, with hobbies that include collecting margarita recipes, hot tub dips, and ogling hot guys at the beach. A connoisseur of the perverse and esoteric, her days are spent among dusty tomes of ancient knowledge, or, conversely, surfing porn sites in the name of research.
Mixing the natural born southern propensity for sarcasm and the environmental western straight-shooting sensibility, she does her damnedest to produce mainstream fiction, literary erotica, and fine works of pure, unadulterated smut.
With characters ranging from supernatural demons to modern-day cowboys, alternative illustrated men to Victorian dandies, the addiction to history and atmosphere is everpresent, and laced through with sensual pleasure. BA's latest projects include werewolves, rodeo cowboys, and fistfighting rednecks.

PINYON by BA Tortuga
When Stirling finds a lost wolf out in the woods of Southern Colorado, the last thing he expects to discover is old pack outcast Tanner.
Tanner was the werewolf who never learned to shift, but it looks like he’s figured things out. Except that news reporters are all over the area, looking for a story in Tanner’s old hometown, and Stirling has a wolf pack to protect.
Can he juggle his duties with his dawning need for Tanner?

Tell us all about the new books, are these are both stand alone books or will they be part of a series?
Been hearing about your Halloween decorating, do you have any fun plans for Halloween?
AND....SUPER CONGRATS!!! Heard your have three bestsellers!!! That is awesome! Hope you're celebrating, you deserve it!
Hope your two new releases are right up there on the bestseller charts before you know it!
Enjoy your party today!
Hey there! Sorry to be late to my own party, but I was waiting for my migraine meds to kick it. O.o
ReplyDeleteI feel much more human now, and I"m ready to play :D
I have my whole house decorated and I have tons of goodies for the kids. My favorite part of the holiday will be seeing my 2 year old goddaughter dressed up like a ladybug. This is our 3rd Halloween together and I can't wait!
:D

Levels of Hunger is a hot, short historical vampire -- a little kinkier than my normal, I'll admit, but that's the fun of playing with bloodsuckers, huh? ;-)
ReplyDeletePinyon is a story that came while Julia Talbot and I were hiking in Colorado this summer (and watching stunningly hot forest rangers). It was one of those 'what if there was this guy...' moments. ;-) Suddenly I had a werewolf ranger out doing his job when a strange new wolf shows up in his territory. :D
Both these stories are quick, fun, stand-alone reads, just right to get you in the Halloween/autumn mood. :D

Artemis: Hey there. I am a tattoo junkie, I admit it, and there's something about a man with good ink that gets me going. Most of my characters have a tattoo or two, but MJ, from my Road Trip series, has a lot of ink and his lover even learned how to tattoo, just for him.
