Celebrating Some Holiday Magic From Sandra Sookoo

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a sexy new paranormal from Sandra Sookoo  just in time for Halloween.

Sandra Sookoo is a writer of romantic fiction. Her portfolio includes historical, contemporary, sci-fi and paranormal romances. She loves to blend genres and spice them up and often times will add humor as well.

After catching the writing bug at the young age of ten, she’s gone on to grow her unique writing style. She’s a regular contributor for the Paranormal Romantic's blog and has a great time keeping things interesting at the Believing is Seeing blog.

When not immersed in creating new worlds and interesting characters, Sandra likes to read, bake and travel. Her favorite place to spend vacation hours is Walt Disney World. It’s where dreams come true and the soul can play. That suits her just fine. Writing is her ultimate dream job.

TAIL ON THE MOON by Sandra Sookoo

Finding herself is harder than she expected.

Rosemary Nickles is stressed out. She has no knack for magic, and lives in Crystal Falls, where that just won't do. It's not easy being a plain old human in a town full of magic makers, especially when her sister is incredibly talented in the paranormal department.

Part-time firefighter, full-time hottie Luke Nolin harbors a secret. Every month he turns furry and howls at the full moon. Even living and working in Crystal Falls, he's not comfortable being a werewolf. Years earlier he nearly killed someone, so devotes his energy to hiding his inner lycanthrope.

If Luke can learn to embrace his true self, then Rosemary might just discover there is more to her than even she knows about. Their path to true love isn’t easy - the town is a mess, the resident witch and order-keeper is gone, and a gang of thugs has taken over Halloween. But this is Crystal Falls, where through acceptance and love anything is possible...just remember to watch out for things that go bump in the night.

WIN - Leave Sandra a question today at her Cyber Launch Party and your name goes in the hat for a copy of Sandra's new book! Please leave your email address so we can contact you if you are today's winner - Good Luck!

  1. Good morning and happy release day Sandra!!!

Tell us all about your new book! Is Crystal Falls a world you created? Will there be more books from you in this world? It sounds like a fun place!

Enjoy your party today and I hope the new book is a HUGE bestseller for you!

  2. Thanks for having me today. Tail on the Moon is the last book in the Holiday Magic series. Nope, I won't any more. The stories have run their course. :-)

Tail on the Moon is about Rosemary who thinks she doesn't have magic like her sister or other residents of the town. And Luke, who's a wolf-shifter who wants nothing more than to chuck his magic :-)

    All set during Halloween!

  3. Thanks for posting the info about your new book. I am going to add it to my wish list (just in case I don't win today). The story sounds wonderful. Is Rosemary treated differently by the townspeople because she doesn't exhibit magic? Do the townspeople know Luke is uncomfortable with his lycanthrope? Inquiring minds want to know.

  4. Hi Jen! The town doesn't know about Luke, but I can't tell you about Rosemary. You'll have to read the book! ;-)

  5. HI Sandra, your book sounds great! I have an interview show on Blog Talk Radio. Would you be interested in participating?

As for my "bookish" question, do you outline everything carefully before you begin or do you just follow the characters?

  6. Hi Sandra. Don't enter me. I have this book. I love the cover. And I can't wait to read it. What's next for your writing?
    Sue B

  7. Hi Sue! Thanks for buying the book. I hope you enjoy it :-)

Dellani--thanks for the invite! Shoot me an email at sandra (dot) sookoo (at) comcast (dot) net and tell me what's involved. Don't want to commit to something I'd feel uncomfortable doing :-)

As for the outlining thing, yes I do plot and outline beforehand. Not detailed, just bare bones so I still have some creativity involved :-)

  8. Wow, not sure how I've missed knowing about your Holiday Magic Series all this time, but it's definately on my books to buy list now.

    Thanks for the contest.

  9. Hi Kathryn :-) Thanks for checking out my books. Hope you enjoy them!

  10. I think I Missed some of your books. I will need to go on a quest. Which is your favorite of all the books you have written.

  11. Congrats on the new book Sandra!

Since this book is a part of a series would it be better to read the other books first or are the books written so that they can be read as stand alone books? Will you be writing another paranormal series next?

  12. Hi Debby! What's my favorite book I've written? lol That's like choosing a favorite kid. Whatever I'm writing currently is my favorite :-) I just can't choose!

  13. Hi Maria! You can read the Holiday Magic books in whatever order you choose as the individual stories stand alone, but since the characters weave in an out of each book, starting at one might be ideal :-)

Will I write another paranormal series? I have one started right now. The first book is NO BITING ALLOWED. You can find info about it on my website :-) I'm hoping to get the 2nd book started after the first of the year :-)

  14. Tail On the Moon looks great, and No Biting Allowed sounds intriguing! What is your writing ritual like? do you have a certain beverage or food that helps? Do you have pets and how do they help or hinder?

  15. Hi Robin. I don't have any pets. As for writing rituals, not really. I like to have either jelly beans or gummi bears on hand when I write. That's about it.

  16. How fun, Sandra! Congrats on the final installment in this series! How many books total are there in Crystal Falls? Or are the Holiday Magic titles set in different places? Must catch up with this fun series!

  17. Hey Fedora! There are six books in total and yes, they are all set in the fictional town of Crystal Falls :-)
