ReplyDeleteSarah ~ Thanks, and yes it is the first in a three part series. I'm working on several different projects for different publishers. The sequel to Of Wolf's Blood is approximately three chapters long, and there are a few shorts for another publisher.

Hmmm, staying original. I really think that the three bite and your a vampire is not as common like in the old Bela Lugosi movies. Nowadays It may only take one bite or a scratch, or you must ingest the vampire's blood. I've written the vampire in different ways.
Some have hearts, some don't, some walk during the day, etc. I do have a story that has a half vampire half incubus. : )
I mean, there are soooo many ways we can cook up vampires, and sorry to say the biting, bloodletting, etc is the same. The only thing is to bring in different personalities to vampires. I enjoy reading of vampires from different perspectives. Some may be lovable, sensitive, while others are domineering, demanding, tortured, and deadly, etc. What other characteristics can we give a vampire? Some can walk in daylight, true.
I think the only way to be original is to think up how they came into existence. I've been wracking my brain about this one and think I have a nice little idea. However, it is possible someone else has thought of it. Soooo, we shall see. Thank you for dropping by.
Hi Jen! We do have a lot of say in the cover art, but it really depends on what the stock images provide us with. The model is right on spot for the woman I had in mind. My cover artist, Anastasia Rabiyah did a wonderful job as she always does. The setting and background is wonderful and it does reflect the story.
ReplyDeleteHi DeNita! Thank you! This story evolved from a free read i came up with regarding a vampire Ulhulrikas and his slayer, Kiara. However I am unsure if that story will do well in the erotic romance community. I say this because this story borderlines horror, darkness, chaos, etc. So, we shall see.
Readers will get the opportunity to see this trio again in the next installment. There are some things I'd like to go over involving Simone and her Sister.
