CLAIMING THEIR MATE - Pack Seduction Book One by Stacey Espino

Carna and her sisters carry the last of the royal blood. Every male shifter in the world craves to mate with one of the elusive princesses to secure their place in history. Only royal blood will ensure the continuation of all shifter species.

Although she may be the heir to future generations, Carna wants no part in a forced seduction. She's independent and wants to make her own choices, and mate for love, not out of necessity. Carna and her sisters split up and go into hiding, but not for long...

When a rogue group of shifters captures Carna and insists she choose one of them as her mate, she puts up the fight of her life, escaping into the forest. Once on the run again, she quickly learns that running and hiding are taking their toll on her. She needs to settle down and why not with one or more of the sexy men begging for her affections? But can she find love amongst all the chaos?

  1. Morning Stacey and super congrats on the new shifter menage! Wow - great cover and what great series this sounds like.

Tell us all about the book and the series. I love how your heroes are different types of shifters. Tell us about this different spin you put on the world you created.

Fantastic to hear the book is already a best seller - hope it's your biggest seller yet!

Enjoy your party and best of luck with the new series!

  2. Thanks again, DeNita! You're the best.

I'm already well into writing the second book in The Pack Seduction series. Hopefully it will be out in a month or so. The first three books focus on one of three royal shifter sisters.

In Claiming Their Mate, Carna is in hiding, not willing to mate because of her pedigree. It's the royal blood she and her sisters carry that will bring future growth and stability to all shifter races. Every male is eager to mate with them and become a part of history.

However, Carna wants love...and finds it with four alpha shifters.

  3. Hi Angela,

Most of my ideas come from dreams. I came up with the mythology for my shifters and built a sexy story around it.

    Thanks!

  4. Love your cowboy books...and vamp books too...but never can go wrong with a cowboy!!

So was there in one author or movie that influenced you into writing paranormal?

I myself read the twilight series and was hooked than moved on to cowboys, contemporary, historical and all things in between. but in paranormal JR WARD BDB series is what keeps me reading more paranormal.

    Respectfully a fan

  5. Hi Chele!

I LOVE BDB and I loved Twilight too! I think everything I've read influences me to some degree, especially for my Immortal Love series.

  6. Congratulations on the release of CLAIMING THEIR MATE! It sounds really good. How many books do you plan to write for the Pack Seduction series?

  7. Your newest looks really really good and I've added it my wishlist. I like the aspect of interracial (if you will) shifter relationships. I know you said in response to an earlier post that your ideas for books come from your dreams, but what lead you to the family tradition of mating with several different shifter species?

    Thanks so much!! :)

  8. AnnaLisa,

I have three planned out for sure--one for each Demori sister. Not sure where I'll take it after that.

    Thanks!

  9. Betsy,

When I came up with the mythology for the series, it was one royal family that carried on the pure blood needed by all shifter species.

The more diverse the matings, the more strength for all the different species. It was logical for the royal wolf-shifter sisters to choose an assortment of mates.

    Thanks for the question!

  10. Congrats on the new release! What was the hardest part of writing Claiming Their Mate?

  11. Hi greenduckie,

The hardest part is coordinating so many men. The heroine ends up with four shifters, so they all need to share and get along.

    Stacey :)

  16. Mel! You're on blogger ;)

Well, luckily the kids are all in school f/t, so I have plenty of time to write during the day. I've learned to write under heavy distractions in the evening. LOL

  17. Sheri,

Thanks! I think Freya will have three mates, but it'll be just as fun for her ;)

  22. Congrats on your new release. It sounds great.I love menage stories.

Is this just the males sharing Carna or do the males "interact" :)

  23. Well the blurb alone got my attention, I just can't pass up a sexy shifter story, but then I peeked at the excerpt, and oh my, Carna is in for quite the treat with her men.

  25. Congrats on the release! Sounds like a great book. So how is it determined what type of shifter a baby will be? I mean if mom's a wolf and dad's a panther does baby have a 50/50 shot or always go with mom or dad's genes?

  28. Hi Elaine,

No, none of my Stacey Espino books have 'male' interaction. They're only into the woman :)

  29. Hi Kytaira,

Good question! Yes, the baby could go either way.

    Thanks!

  34. First of all, I am impressed you find time to write with 5 kids. My hat's off. Are you a plotter? Do you carry around notebooks and write down bits and pieces all day?
    Thanks for the contest.
