TAMING JENNNA by Stacey Espino
Sequel to SAVING GRACE
Jenna can outride and outshoot any of the cowboys on the Wagner ranch. She's content to live invisibly amongst the ranch hands, hiding from a past she can't accept.
When Trevor and Conner find out her carefully guarded secret, Jenna's life turns upside down. She gives in to the rugged, sexy cowboys and explores her sexuality in new and unconventional ways.

Hi, Stacey-
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the latest release.
You write in a variety of genres (or sub-genres), but cowboy stories have a bit of a lead. What attrracts you to writing about them?

Dang - just read the excerpt! Now I need a cold shower!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Stacey! Sounds like an awesome book! The cover doesn't look too bad either. . . :) What inspires you to write? Since this is the sequal to Saving Grace, do we have to read Saving Grace first?

Yummy, Stacey! Congrats on Taming Jenna--it sounds like a wonderfully hot read! Are any of your characters based on real-life people? Has anyone ever recognized him/herself in your stories? :)

Thanks so much, DeNita!
ReplyDeleteSaving Grace isn't a typical menage with Grace ending up with one man.
Many of my readers were curious about secondary characters, Trevor and Connor, etc.
Taming Jenna focuses on Jenna, Trevor and Conner from the first book. It's a classic menage story, unlike the first book. Readers also get to live in the same world and meet Mr. Wagner and other characters again.
It was fun revisiting the characters and giving them their own HEAs!!

Hi Anne,
ReplyDeleteThere is something special about a cowboy. When I write a western, it's an escape for me, too. I love country living.
Stacey
Jessica,
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to read Saving Grace first. The romance is with new characters. There are a few references to previous events, but nothing that would make it not a stand-alone read.
I love to write. It's just as much of an escape for me as reading!
Stacey
Flechen,
ReplyDeleteAll my characters are fictional, right out of my imagination. :)
Hi, Stacey.
ReplyDeleteWhen you wrote Saving Grace, did you know you would write a sequel to it?
Thanks,
Tracey D

Hi Tracey D,
ReplyDeleteI never planned a sequel to Saving Grace. I chose to write it after a response from my readers. They wanted more from the secondary characters, so I gave them their own HEA in Taming Jenna :)
Stacey
I like connected stories even if they are stand alone. Can you work on more than one story at a time or do you have to focus and finish before starting the next?

ReplyDeleteWhen writing this story, did you at anytime want Jenna to get closer to one of the guys more so than the other?

Lindsey,
ReplyDeleteI usually have more than one story on the go at a time. I do focus on one more than the others, but plug away at all of them.
Stacey
Leni,
ReplyDeleteI think Jenna felt more of an emotional connection to Trevor, but still couldn't resist Connor once he opened up to her.
Stacey :)
Wow Stacey I read the excerpt and it was HOT! I'm curious as to what secret she is hiding. It sounds like a great read. Congratulations on your new release!

Congratulations on your new release. This sounds like it will be a very good book.

You have already answered my questions so I will just leave a comment. I have this book on my wish list. I added it a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the giveaway.

I loved the excerpt for Saving Jenna as well as Saving Grace! Is it harder writing a M/F/M/M/M than a M/F/M? The dynamics both logistically and emotionally seem so much more complex. And like everyone else I can't wait to learn the secret. Any clues to Jenna's secret in Saving Grace?

Thanks, Stacie, Sherry, and Jen!

Kytaira,
ReplyDeleteThe sex scenes can be a bit harder with more men...but also more fun :)
In Saving Grace there is no hint to either of Jenna's secrets. Her real identity and other secret are a surprise.
Thanks!
