Celebrating Erin Nicholas' New Samhain Release - JUST RIGHT

Today, we are celebrating the release of Erin Nicholas' new contemporary romantic comedy JUST RIGHT!

Erin has been reading romance since her mom first let her into her book cupboard when Erin was about fourteen. LaVyrle Spencer, Julie Garwood, Debbie Macomber... they took Erin's 'happily ever after' ideas from animated princesses to real people in the real world.

She's been writing romance almost as long. Many a family car trip was spent with her head bent over a spiral notebook in the back seat. She'll confess that her very first attempts at fiction were fantasy and paranormals, influenced by her father's love of the Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and the original Alice in Wonderland. If Harry Potter had been around, Erin's sure he would have been on the bedtime story shelf as well.

But it wasn't long until Erin started writing about true love and that's where she's been ever since.

She's so thrilled to be able to share these stories with you and hopes that they make you smile, sigh, maybe even choke up a little. Most of all, She hopes that they help you believe in magical things like first kisses, the spark of passion, and the power of true love.

Erin loves to hear from readers! Please write her at Erin@ErinNicholas.com

JUST RIGHT by Erin Nicholas

To save one good man, she'll have to let her inner bad girl out to play...

ER nurse Jessica Bradford is a good girl. Okay, a reformed bad girl, but she's done her late father proud. Now she's one step away from landing Dr. Perfect, aka handsome, sexy, heroic Ben Torres - the hot fudge and cherry on top of her hard work scooping out a respectable life.

Ben learned the art of sacrifice from his missionary parents, but when a drunk driver he saved kills three people, he quits. To be precise, the fist he plants in the man's face gets him suspended. And the first dish he wants on his newly empty plate is Jessica - preferably naked.

Jessica can't believe the Ben she's found drowning his sorrows in a bar is her knight in shining scrubs. And he won't be pried loose until she bets 48 hours of her time in a game of pool. She loses. And the next morning she stands to lose much more.

The Chief of Staff's recommendation for the promotion she's been after rides on her ability to keep Ben out of trouble until things blow over.

Except "trouble" is all Ben wants. And despite herself, Jessica finds that she's more than willing to go down with him...

Warning: Erin Nicholas' new book contains hot love in a store dressing room and in the front seat of a car - at the expense of a very nice strawberry patch, unfortunately - oh, and hooker boots. Can't forget the hooker boots.

  2. Oh I'm with you...I just read both the excerpts and competely loved the one in the ER. It was like watching a movie. Which is what I love when I read. I want the author to show it to me and that you did.

So going to pick this one up!

  5. I just read the excerpt and these two seem like the perfect match. Both seem to have things hidden beneath the surface that are to be discovered.

  9. Happy Release Day, Erin!

Great excerpt...I can imagine what kind of trouble Ben and Jessica can find. Sometimes a strssful job like an ER doctor and nurse can push the limits of control and responsibility.

    Sounds like a lovely read.

  10. Hi, Everyone! Darn this day job that gets in the way of my writing-cyber-blogging fun!!

First, about the other books in this series! When I started writing Just Right I really didn't plan on it being a series. But Jessica's brother Sam and sister Sara were such... characters! They needed their own stories too! I'm super excited because Samhain is really behind this series and has Just Like that (Sam's) releasing in June and Just My Type (Sara's) coming out September so there won't be too long between books!!

Sharon, the ER scene was fun to write! It just flowed. This really shows who Ben is in particular :)
Virginia, thanks, you're sweet! My blog with the Nine Naughty Novelists is a lot of fun... GREAT group of authors and friends!
Karen, lol... well, she does wear them to the strawberry patch but it's accidental... oh, I can't explain-- you'll just have to read it :)
Leni, to say that there are things below the surface for both is right on. Jessica and Ben are both have interesting pasts!
    Thanks Beth!
joder... you'll have to mark your calendar for Just Like That in June... believe me, with cover art, edits, etc. that seems like just around the corner! And my first book No Matter What is out in e-book now (and will be out in print in October I just found out!).
Anne, my first romances were LaVyrle Spencer (still have Separate Beds on my keeper shelf!) and Johanna Lindsey, actually. Also some Julie Garwood. Then I moved on to Harlequins for awhile!
Hi, Armenia! Yes, the stress does get to Ben... and his way of dealing with it is interesting :)
    Thanks everyone for stopping by!!

  16. Thanks, everyone! I've been waiting for this book to be on the "shelves" since selling it in September so I'm very excited to have it out!

Hi SiNn! Next is Just Like That... Jessica's brother's book. You'll meet Sam really early on in Just Right and he's a pretty regular presence! I'm hoping to have the cover for Just Like That finalized and up on my website soon!! The mock up I've seen is great! Very sexy!

Pat, I think it's a fun book... I might be biased of course ;) but one of Ben's goals is making sure Jessica has a good time and, well, he accomplishes it in a number of ways!

Thanks, Tracey, Andrea, Estella! It's nice to see friends!! :)
