Celebrating A Multi-Author Anthology Featuring A Story By Nina Pierce

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a new Ellora's Cave paperback anthology featuring a story by Nina Pierce!

Award-winning erotic romance author, Nina Pierce, grew up in a house full of readers. So becoming enamored with books was only natural. She discovered romance stories in her early teens, falling hopelessly in love with knights in shining armor and the damsels who saved them.

Eventually, reading about alpha males and the journey to find their happy-ever-after endings wasn’t enough. She needed to pen her own stories of fated loves and soul mates. Nina’s discovered the passionate side of romance with her sexy stories. For her, it’s all about the sweet scent of seduction mixed with the heart warming aroma of romance.

Nina resides in the northeast with her high school sweetheart and soul mate of twenty-seven years, their three grown children and several very spoiled cats who consider her "staff".

RIPE AND READY

An Anthology Featuring Stories by Nina Pierce, Mardi Ballou, Kat Alexis and Alexis Canto

Obtaining his life's dream may very well destroy hers...

DIVINE DECEPTION Deception by Nina Pierce

Nicholas is returning to the family vineyard after nearly a decade away. A quick trip to the lawyer to collect the trust fund that's rightfully his and he can wash his hands of the alcoholic father who disowned him years ago. A romp or two with the cellarmaster's assistant shouldn't complicate things.

Francesca has given her heart and soul to Mill Tavern Vineyards, working tirelessly in its wine cellars. Now the greedy son of her stepfather is coming home to take it all from her. Manipulating her way into the playboy's bed may be the only way to save her home.

But hot sex quickly becomes an affair of the heart as Francesca and Nick get tangled in lies and deceit trying to discover the truth behind the failing vineyard.

Other stories include PERFECT PEAR by Mardi Ballou, BERRY BLISS by Kat Alexis, and RIPE FOR LOVE by Alexis Canto.

  1. I love steamy romance stories. Short stories can be satisfying for a reader like me who have a couple of weeks every month where we are very short on free time. Do you prefer to write short or long stories?

  2. Congrats on your new release.

From looking through the backlist on your website, it looks like you enjoy writing more than one genre. Do you have a favorite to write &/or read?

  3. Lil - I find most of my stories are on the shorter side. I like the challenge of squeezing a big story in a small space. :~D

  4. Kathryn - Hmmm, I typed this three times with a different genre each time and realized ... I really like them all. There's a challenge with each that keeps the writing fresh and exciting for me. Thanks for checking out my backlist.

  5. Good morning Nina!!!

Super congrats on being included in EC's new paperback anthology RIPE AND READY - love the food/drink theme of the book - perfect for the fall harvest!

Love your vineyard setting, did you do a lot of research on wine making for your book - how about wine tasting? LOL - that sounds like more fun!

Please tell the other authors, they are very welcome to stop by to talk about their stories in this collection - we'd love to have them.

Hope the print release is a huge seller - have fun today and Party On!

  7. Actually, I used to live near wine country in NY. Mr. Nina and I spent Saturdays visiting the local wineries for some cheap entertainment. Hard not to learn something through all of that.

Beyond that I actually contacted a vitner and had him on speed-email with questions while I was writing the story. LOL!

  10. Elain - I'd love to write an historical, but my understanding of history is sad, just so sad. LOL! I may give it a try some day though, perhaps as a time travel.

  11. Tammy - You totally made my day! The characters? They just sort of evolve and come alive as I write the story. I picture them with all their strengths and quirks and hope it translates to the page. Thank you so much for stopping by.

  12. I love anthologies. I get a taste of differant authors all in one book. Your story sound very good. You said you have some very spoiled cats(me too). What are their names?

  13. Katsrus - I don't any cat who isn't spoiled. We humans don't really have much of a chance when it comes to outsmarting cats. LOL! We've got Pepper (black), Oliver (because he was orphaned) and Indiana Jones (because he's adventuresome and a trouble maker). Thanks for asking.

  14. How did you get involved with this anthology? I have asked other authors a similar question and the answers run the gamit! Thanks for the giveaway.

  15. Congrats on your latest release! Do you like writing to music/create playlists for your books?

  16. Bookwyrm - I'm one of those few authors who need quiet when I write. Music totally scrambles my wiring and I can't think "around" it. Thanks for asking.

  17. Jen - This particular anthology is a grouping of stories from a "fruit" themed submission call EC held. Each of the stories is available in digital formats and they bundled four of them together for this print book. There's a great mix of how the "fruit" is used in the stories which is the fun of being part of an anthology.

  18. Anthologies are wonderful chance to meet new authors. Is it very hard to write for one?
    debby236 at gmail dot com

  19. Debby - The challenge of writing for an anthology is writing a complete story that is only a third as long as a typical book. It's a different kind of writing, but one I enjoy.

  20. Just wanted to wave hi, Nina--sorry so late! Glad to learn about this new anthology--I love anthologies, and truly, it's a gift when writers can tell a complete story in so short a space! Congrats, and looking forward to picking this up!
