Celebrating A New Samhain Release For Erin Nicholas

Today, we are celebrating the release of Erin Nicholas' new contemporary romantic comedy JUST LIKE THAT, the second book in her The Bradfords Trilogy!

Erin has been reading romance since her mom first let her into her book cupboard when Erin was about fourteen. LaVyrle Spencer, Julie Garwood, Debbie Macomber... they took Erin's 'happily ever after' ideas from animated princesses to real people in the real world.

She's been writing romance almost as long. Many a family car trip was spent with her head bent over a spiral notebook in the back seat. She'll confess that her very first attempts at fiction were fantasy and paranormals, influenced by her father's love of the Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and the original Alice in Wonderland. If Harry Potter had been around, Erin's sure he would have been on the bedtime story shelf as well.

But it wasn't long until Erin started writing about true love and that's where she's been ever since.

She's so thrilled to be able to share these stories with you and hopes that they make you smile, sigh, maybe even choke up a little. Most of all, She hopes that they help you believe in magical things like first kisses, the spark of passion, and the power of true love.

Erin loves to hear from readers! Please write her at Erin@ErinNicholas.com

JUST LIKE THAT - Book 2 in Erin Nicholas' The Bradfords Trilogy

Danika Steffen can take care of herself. Watching her mother slowly succumb to muscular dystrophy convinced Danika that total independence is the only way to go. Anything that needs fixing, she's got the tools. So what if she's never had an orgasm. No one really needs one, right?

Sam Bradford is good at two things: his job as a paramedic, and seducing women. Being dependable? Not so much. Losing his father at age fifteen tore a permanent hole in his life, and now he's determined never to let anyone need him that much. Enjoying women, though, is definitely on the menu. As long as they understand his unbreakable rule: one night only. Until a date with Danika Steffen ends not in her bed, but with a trip to the ER.

Danika may have a broken wrist, but Sam's the one suffering...an intense case of guilt. And instead of doing things to her, he only wants to do things for her. Which would drive her crazy if not for the sneaking suspicion that Sam needs a little TLC too. And damned if she doesn't want to be the one to give it...

Warning: Contains an I'll-do-it-myself girl who can fix anything, a commitment-phobic guy who can't fix anything, and a whole new way to look at butter. Yes, butter.

WIN - Leave Erin a comment or question today at her Cyber Launch Party and your name goes in the hat to win her brand new release and the first book in the trilogy JUST RIGHT. Please leave your email address so we can contact you if you are today's winner!

  1. Happy Release Day Erin!!

I'm so excited about this trilogy - I love romantic comedy and I loved the excerpt for the new book JUST LIKE THAT. Great cover too.

Tell us a little bit about how the trilogy fits together and the inside scoop on the new book.

Enjoy your very special day and I hope this book is your biggest seller yet!

  4. Danika and Sam seem like the perfect match. When you decided to write this story, did Danika or Sam come to you first?

  5. Hi all! Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the comment on the cover... I love this cover! Scott Carpenter did a great job (as usual!).
The trilogy is tied together by the Bradford siblings Jessica (Just Right, March 2010), Sam (Just Like That, June 2010) and Sara (September 2010).
You don't have to read the books in order by any means, but the main and secondary characters show up in all three so you get to know them well! :)
Dani is perfect for Sam (IMO *g*)! I knew Sam first because of his presence in Just Right. But when I wrote Just Right I didn't intend it to be a series, but Sam convinced me otherwise! He's a notorious playboy and that's always fun-- especially finding that woman who can match him!
Thanks for reading all! I'll be checking in and out all day so keep asking questions (love those) and good luck on the contest! ;)

  6. Wow, butter! The cover is great and would love to win a copy, which would prompt me to acquire a copy of the first in the series. Congratulations on the new release, Erin
