Celebrating A Sexy New Shifter Release From Jianne Carlo

Today on our Cyber Launch Party, we're celebrating Jianne Carlo's sexy new shifter release in her popular White Wolf Series.

ALPHA ME NOT by Jianne Carlo
White Wolf Book Three

Susie White wants no picket fences, no alpha, and no cubs. White wolf woman she may be, but no pack for her, no sireee. Alpha me not, that’s her motto. In all caps.

Mercenary and half-breed wolf Joe Huroq’s not looking for a mate. Stop and go screwing, that’s his motto. Hot and heavy between missions. Then he glimpses his new neighbor tanning nude and the situation explodes.

Literally. Susie’s house is consumed by fire. What’s Joe to do but offer Susie his hospitality?

Susie can’t resist the temptation of big, bad, mercenary, so she suggests a friends with benefits arrangement which he accepts with an amazing alacrity. The sex is frantic, hot, and frequent. Neither one can keep their hands off the other.

Then children go missing. The fire’s deemed arson. Bodies pile up. Susie refuses to accept Joe’s mate claim. Can he keep her safe when she won’t obey a single order?

Award winning, Jianne Carlo’s motto is simple: Alpha Me Please.

While strong heroines, exotic locations, and cultural differences are her forte, she goes weak in the knees and salivates for warriors of any type – rebels, SEAls, Vikings, and bad-ass mercenaries. Send her a man with an attitude and she’ll find the right woman to tame him.

Jianne’s writing career began in 2008, and since then she’s been lucky enough to have over twenty books published. Most of her books are TOP PICKs and several have been nominated for awards and prizes:

Passionate Ink’s Best Contemporary of 2009 - A Paratrooper in a Pear Tree

Deviant Devil – nominated for The Romance Studio’s Best Suspense of 2011

The Peacemaker – nominated for The Romance Studio’s Best Historical

The Seducer – nominated for Love Romance Café’s Best Historical of 2011

Deviant Devil – nominated for Love Romance Café’s Best BDSM of 2011

Nothing makes Jianne’s day more than an email from someone who’s read one of her books. So far, she’s received emails from almost every continent on the planet. Almost…

    1. Thanks DeNita - very excited to be here.

A bit about me - let's see: I started writing romance after attending a fairytale wedding in castle in Wales in 2008. Since then I've had twenty-one books published - something which amazes me constantly.

The dh and I celebrated our 35th anniversary this year. We have 3 fantastic sons all over the age of 21. My youngest was actually the stud on my site when I first started this gig. :)

And two weeks ago I piloted a fighter jet - I flew a jet - okay only for seconds at a time and there was always an expert to take over - BUT I FLEW A DOFIGHT!!

  5. The White Wolf series tracks the lives of the White family; Lizzie, Gray, Melanie, and Susie and the legends of the White and Black wolves.

According to the White Wolf legend, the Cwaatchii had once been one species fathered by the Gaa’lingan, the great earth spirit. They had lived in Ma'ghiciwa, the sacred diamond- and gold-dusted caverns that ran the entire west line of what was now Lake Superior.

Gaa’lingan loved his children and blessed them with his wisdom and many magical powers. The Cwaatchii prospered and populated the labyrinths of Ma’ghiciwa with loving bitches and powerful males. Most were content to live off the fish in the many streams and saw no need to venture aboveground.

The sun spirit, O'aajiisi, grew jealous of being denied the Cwaatchii and sent a child of his own, Miigawashi, a bird whose song entranced all living creatures, to lure the Cwaatchii to his fiery heat. The Miigawashi enticed the beta males with the promise of alpha powers gifted from O’aajiisi.

And thus began the split in the wolves and one pack turned to the dark side

    1. Oh that is a great world you created! Will there be more in this series and will you do a series on the Black Wolves as well?

    2. Lauri Jo,

There are going to be two more books in this series. While each book is a stand alone - the last book in the series will tie up some hanging questions (all minor).

      Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Hmmm Connie - you and my editor must be twins! I actually wanted to start a new series based on Joe's best friend, Tate Gunn.

But, first I must get my rear end going on Chad and Lizzie's tale!

  7. This series sounds awesome and I am putting it on my wishlist! Are you going to be at any Reader Conventions?

  8. Hi Susan,

I'm definitely going to the Romantic Times convention next year. A group of authors and myself (Caitlyn Willows, Lynn Lorenz, Belinda McBride and others) are starting the convention off with the PIMP YOUR BADGE session.

The convention's in Kansas, MO from May 1 -5. So looking forward to it. I do hope to attend others next year, but haven't decided on any. Do you have suggestions?

  9. Hi Jianne, do you have any plans to write another paranormal series, maybe about vampires or faeries or demons or maybe all of them together in one series?

    taccb_1981@yahoo.com

  10. Nothing in the plans for vampires, but I do have one in the works based up demon soucouyants.

I started a new paranormal SEAL book, which may turn into a series and Tate Gunn from Alpha Me Not will have his own book.

For some time, I've been sitting on a fairy-witchy tale that I hope to finish soon.

Before the end of the year, the first book in a new Viking series, Malice Striker, should be released.

    1. I'm such a suck Tiffany - my favorite book is always the one I've just finished. Have to admit though, I loved Joe to death. And Susie is a total bad-ass heroine.

I figure too more books in this series. And you may want to check out some of the reading order suggestions as I'm writing the books a tad backward.

      Thanks for dropping by,

    1. This one stumped in the middle, Lynn. You'll see what I mean when you read parts of the words from Funeral Blues.

I still haven't read Tor or The Bacchi - the dh hid my Kindle on our vacation and I've been too swamped with day work to start anything. But the Kindle is fully charged and winking at me.

Thanks for stopping by my friend. Miss you.

Can't wait for RT next year.
