NORTHANGER ABBEY by Desiree Holt and Jane Austen

When Catherine Morland meets John Thorpe and Henry Tilney in Bath, England, she is thrilled by the attention both men pay her. She soon realises what a social climber John is, but it is the very handsome Henry who lights the sparks inside her. When Henry’s father invites her to visit their country mansion, Northanger Abbey, she is delighted to have more time to spend with Henry.
As the days pass Henry introduces her to a whole new world of eroticism, a world beyond her imaginings. A world where sex knows no boundaries and even her deepest, most secret fantasies, can be played out behind closed doors.

This is the story of the initiation into life of the naïve but sweetly appealing heroine, Catherine Moreland. A woman who suddenly finds herself an enthusiastic participant in the darker side of sexual activities. At the same time she finds herself embroiled in a real drama of misapprehension, mistreatment, and mortification, until common sense, humour and a crucial clarification of Catherine’s financial status, resolve her problems and win her the approval of Henry’s formidable father.

BLIND ECSTASY by Desiree Holt

When Johanna Devlin fell in love with Sean Devlin she thought she had it all - a man who loved her as much as she loved him and the perfect Dom for her submissive nature. On her birthday when he asked her to marry him, to wear his collar, she was sure she had it all. But the next day he disappeared and four years later he’s still missing from her life.

Except for rare visits to Club Fantasy she’s retreated from the D/s lifestyle. Then her sister insists she accept the gift of a night at Club Fantasy with a Dom who knows just how to satisfy all her sexual needs. She accepts with some reservation, especially when the dungeon master blindfolds her before taking her to the private room. Before the night is over she finds a lot more than hours of intense sexual delights.

Desiree has lived a life of excitement that brings the color to her writing. She was a summer fishing guide, a summer field hand where she was one of only three women working, a member of a beginning ski team that skied in competition (and no, no broken bones!). She spent several years in the music business representing every kind of artist from country singer to heavy metal rock bands. For several years she also ran her own public relations agency handling any client that interested her.

She is twice a finalist for an EPIC E-Book Award, a nominee for a Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award, winner of the first 5 Heart Sweetheart of the Year Award at The Romance Studio, and is published by four different houses. Romance Junkies said of her work: "Desiree Holt is the most amazing erotica author of our time and each story is more fulfilling then the last."

  1. Hi all. Thanks for coming to the cyberlaunch. Northanger Abbey is one of the launch books in Clandestine Classic. If you Google them you will find hundreds of references from The New York Times to The Wall Street Journal to the major TV networks. Fox News did a whole segment on them. I'm really excited to be lart of this project.

2.'s Book One in my Club Fantasy series- Blind Ecstasy. Pass through the doors of a high class bondage club to discover the pleasures that await you.

  3. Good morning Desiree! Super congrats on the new releases! Wow is all I can say! I'm so excited about your taking part in Total-e-Bound's Clandestine Classic series.

Tell us what that was like for you - adding to Jane Austen's words. I don't know about you, but I have a lot of favorite stories that I wish I could get behind the bedroom door!

Hope you enjoy your launch party and here's to both your new books hitting the bestseller lists!!!

  4. Congrats on your newest releases Desiree.
Blind Ecstasy sounds hot! :) Looking forward to reading it.
How many books are you hoping to have in the Club Fantasy series?

  5. Congratulations Desiree! Both books sound awesome. Was there a certain book or author that inspired you to write D/s, or is it something you've just always liked?

  6. Hi Elaine, I hope to have at least 5 books in the series. Thanks for asking. And be sure to tell Secret Cravings how much you like it.

  7. Hi, Jen. Yes, actually there was. Two of them. Joey Hill's two book series, The Ice Queen and Mirror of My Soul. They are so beautifully written and so emotional they opened up a who new genre for me and also drew me into what the BDSM lifestyle is all about. The more I research it the more I realize that, more than any other type of relationship it's built on trust and a power exchange. Even if it's just for temporary play. The keywords are always SSC-Safe, Sane and Consensual.

  8. Both stories sound great! I love all of your books. Who are some of your favorite authors?

    Amy S.

  9. Congrats on your latest releases!
Do you have a favourite genre?

  10. Congrats on your new release! Sounds like a really good book and I would love to read it. Do you use things that happen in real life in your books?

  11. Hello congrats on your release :)
From all your book do you have a favorite or all of them your favorite?

  12. forgot my email addy. quiltlady110 AT gmail DOT com

  13. Wow! Okay, one at a time. My favorite authors are all over the place. Joey Hill (erotic romance), Robyn Carr and Sherryl Woods (warm romances), Brad Thor and Vince Flynn (thrillers), Sylvia Day (erotic), Shiloh Walker (paranormal.

  14. Chey, I actually have two favorite genres, contemporary romance (erotic as well as just spicy) and thrillers.

  15. Quilt Lady, yes, I definitely use things that happen in real life. The opening chapter in Erected was based on something that happened to me recently and a lot of my characters are drawn from real life.

  16. Hi Joyhanna. I guess all of them are my favorites but if I had to pick a couple I'd say Joy Ride, Downstroke, Once Upon a Wedding and Out of Control.

  17. And amy, I am sooo glad you love my books.

  18. Congratulations on the books! What's your favorite classic book?

  19. I think my favorite is the one I "spiced up" for Clandestine Classics, Northanger Abbey. I have aways loved Caroline and Henry's story and I was so glad they let me into the bedroom with them!

  20. Do you think you will write a full historical now or will you stay with contemporaries?
    linze_e at

  21. Congratulations!! I love the cover to Blind Ecstasy, you said there are going to be 5 more in the series, will they be connected books ?

  22. Congrats on the new release.
When I am reading a book I can picture the characters in my mind and they sometimes look like actors and actresses. When your writing a book do you sometimes model them after an actress or actor?

  23. I love Desiree Holt's books. She's an awesome lady to meet in person. :) Question for her, can you see yourself doing a full length historical erotic series?

  24. put my name in the hat - please
