Celebrating A New Erotic Paranormal From Megan Slayer

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a sexy new erotic paranormal romance from Megan Slayer and Changeling Press.

WILD FLOWER by Megan Slayer

Glow Band Book 5 - Glow Kids

She’s the key to his destiny, if he’s willing to embrace position of power.

Ansen doesn’t believe he’s alpha material. He lives live on his own terms and keeps feelings out of the equation - until a chance meeting at a Glow concert turns his world upside down.

Willow liked having all access to her favorite band.  She lives in the shadows and keeps the band's fan site running without fail.  One glimpse of the dark stranger proves there's more to life than a laptop screen.
But is he too much of a gamble if her heart is the ultimate prize?

When she's not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her two vampire Cabana boys, Luke and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don't seem to mind.

When she’s not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school. She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best. Currently hanging out every Wednesday and Friday at the Menagerie Authors site, hunting Hotties for the Saturday posts, and working on the next great story brewing in her head!

The cabana boys are willing to serve, unless she needs them. She always need them. So be nice to Javier or he will bite--on command.

She also masquerades under the name Wendi Zwaduk and is published through Changeling Press, Liquid Silver Books, and Total-E-Bound Publishing.

  1. Happy Friday Megan and super congrats on the new release! I love the cover and the blurb has me intrigued.

For those not familiar with your Glow Band Series, can you tell us a bit about it and how the books fit together? How many books do you plan for the series?

You're really busy this summer between releases from Megan and your other self, Wendi Zwaduk. Can you tell us what else you've got going on and what's next?

Enjoy your cyber launch party today and I hope WILD FLOWER is your biggest seller yet! Have fun!

  2. Hiya!! I'm glad to be here. I love the cover, too. Renee George did such a fabulous job on it. So sexy!

About the series...the Glow band is comprised of four friends, one of which is an elemental. But the others are human. The other elements come into play though. Each member of the band has a story and now I'm moving on to the fans. The series keeps evolving, so I have honestly no idea how long it will continue. As long as the fans enjoy it, I'll keep going.

Next? I've got a novella entitled, Savage Protector, based on the faery tale Strong Hans, coming out in October from Changeling Press and a white hot erotica tale, Make Me coming out in September from Razor's Edge Press.

  3. Hello Megan/Wendi

You're a new author for me, why the two names? Is your new book a shifter story? I love shifter heroes!

I'm heading to your website to find out more about you and to check out your Glow Series.

  4. Hi Beckie!

I have the two names because under my Megan name, I write characters that are solely gay. Under my Wendi name, I've got characters that are bisexual. I find sometimes the fans who will read a menage with mmf won't read mm. I kept it separate in case. Megan writes more paranormal than my Wendi name.

I hope you enjoy the Glow series. Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Hi Wendy/Megan;it rather bemuses me to have bylines differentiated by gender involvements and numbers--s long-time SF/F reader I've seen straight writers do all of LGBTQ and manages, and bi and gay and transgendered writer write straight sex scenes, etc. Unless reader knows what the writer's gender orientation is, it's not necessarily--or relevant! (Except, there ware some whose personal limited tolerance views, seems to pervade their writing. The late Leo Frankowski was an old-fashioned to use the perjorative term, male chauvinistic sexist pig in both writing AND person.... Sometimes the work's independent of the biases of the writer, and sometimes, it's not... I prefer it when the personal orientation of the writer, doesn't limit the characters happily ever after arrangements....

  6. Hi Paula,

The two names, though I've always told anyone who wanted to know I'm both people, has a little to do with my folks. While they don't care that I write, my father would prefer I don't write MM. He knows, but preferred I didn't use my 'real name' to write it.

I hope you find enjoyment in my work and thank you for stopping by.

  8. bn100 - it's funny. I always think, oh, I'll name this character this name. But it never works out that way. They name themselves. I had one character I gave him two or three names, then finally he said, my name is Torin. Shows what I know. Grin. I hope you enjoy the book. :-)
