Celebrating Kathy Kulig's New Erotic Paranormal With EC

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of a new story in Kathy Kulig's popular Demons In Exile Series with Ellora's Cave.

DAMNED AND DEFIANT by Kathy Kulig

Book 3 in the Demons in Exile Series.
Mortal women surrender to Dante’s seductions. He is a Drone, an immortal who feeds off their lifeforce energy—the chi that keeps his kind alive. When his dimension is on the edge of destruction, Dante must seek the help of one special woman.
Haley Moore is a Sha Warrior—a mortal with excess lifeforce. She’s always been drawn to Dante. When they meet again he thinks luck is on his side—his quota of chi energy would be obtained after one scorching scene with this mortal. The problem is that he is overwhelmingly attracted to her and once with this woman won’t be enough.
Haley tries to draw out the man buried deep within the demon. Their fierce, undeniable passion unravels his plans and threatens her life. But Dante is destined to leave Earth forever. He must choose whether to return to Prygos or give up his immortality and share his future with Haley.

You are a new author for me but this books looks and sounds great.

How do you come up with the names of the characters in your books? Do you use names from your family or just pick names you like and have wanted to use?

  11. Hi DeNita, Thank you for having me on Author Island to celebrate. You always do a fabulous Cyber Launch. :)

Hi Mary, Thanks. And good question. Names do take some time. I have a great book by Sherrilyn Kenyon that helps with names. Sometimes I use that or make them up.

Hi Jean, I don't pick out the covers. I fill out an art form for the art dept. and they do the cover up. I can make suggestions. Kendra Egert designed this one.

  13. Thanks Quilt L., No I don't write historical, paranormal and contemporary. Wild Jade has a little Mayan history to it but that's as close to an historical as I get. :)

Hi Ellen, Thank you for reading the excerpt. Glad you enjoyed it.

  14. Hi Delilah, Good question. I guess I heard about psychic vampires and decided my demons would need to have that ability to survive. And thanks for checking out my website. :)

Hi Suzie, Awesome! Thanks for starting the series. I got my inspiration for this series while traveling in Sedona, AZ. I even talked to a Navajo. The area is so beautiful, it's hard not to be inspired.

  15. Thanks Jane, I hope you enjoy the series. I'm glad you stopped by.

Hi Susan. I just started a new series. It's an erotic contemporary called TropiX. The first book is called Spring Break. I'm working on book two now. It takes place in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Hi Alison, Thanks for stopping by and helping me celebrate the new release. Good luck!

Hi Marybelle, Usually I do know. The Demons in Exile was planned for three. But I could branch out in another direction if I like. TropiX is a planned and outlined 4-book series. I also have Dragon Witch and I'm considering writing a sequel and possibly a three-book series for that one. That was loosely planned, not formally outlined. :)
