Celebrating The eBook Release Of PARTY OF THREE by Desiree Holt

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of PARTY OF THREE, a hot menage romance from award-winning and bestselling author Desiree Holt.

Desiree has lived a life of excitement that brings the color to her writing. She was a summer fishing guide, a summer field hand where she was one of only three women working, a member of a beginning ski team that skied in competition (and no, no broken bones!). She spent several years in the music business representing every kind of artist from country singer to heavy metal rock bands. For several years she also ran her own public relations agency handling any client that interested her.

She is twice a finalist for an EPIC E-Book Award, a nominee for a Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award, winner of the first 5 Heart Sweetheart of the Year Award at The Romance Studio, and is published by four different houses. Romance Junkies said of her work: "Desiree Holt is the most amazing erotica author of our time and each story is more fulfilling then the last."

PARTY OF THREE by Desiree Holt

Carolina "Carrie" Derosa had the hots for her boss, Drew Magellan, from the first day she went to work for him. Little did she know that Drew wanted her just as badly, but the same thing was holding them back—taboo on sex in the workplace.

When Drew's friend, Linc Conover, drops into the office to see him after hours and they bump into Carrie on her way out, the sparks that fly from all three light up the hallway. It doesn't take long before they adjourn to Drew's condo and fall into a whirlpool of eroticism.

But no one expects jealousy to rear its ugly head. Who will come out on top in this menage - so to speak?

Note: This story is also available as part of the THREEFOLD anthology.

  6. Congratulations on the release! How do you pick out the names of your characters?

I have a cat named Drew because I like the name then named my second cat Kevin and had no idea where that name popped up from. Then I saw a superstar version of The Amazing Race and my favorite team from season one was Kevin and Drew and I had forgotten their names, but obviously, subconsciously, I had the names linked.

  7. Hello Desiree

I enjoy reading menage romances because they have a whole other level of complexity that a couple just wouldn't have. There is always the concern that one person would be left out or jealousy would run rampant. The fact that Drew is Carrie's boss would make it even more complicated. Party of Three sounds awesome!

Which of my jobs was my favorite? I'd have to go back to my college days when I was the first female sports reporter on my college newspaper.

  12. Anne:
How do I pick out the names of my characters?
Sometimes they just pop into my head. I'll be doing something and a name pops in and I have to write it down ASAP and then find a story to use it in. Zoe Fortunato, in Something Borrowed, was just such a name. I also collect names as I meet people, and write down the ones I like. But my all-time favorite (so far) is Noah Cantrell is Where Danger Hides

  15. Hope you have a great release day. Names are important since I have hesitated to read books when I really disliked the name of the hero.
