DENYING HIS WOLFEN HERITAGE - Book 2 in Missy Martine's A Wolfen Heritage Trilogy

Michael spent his adulthood taking care of his baby sister, pretty much putting his own desires on hold. Then Maddie fell in love and married, freeing Michael to have a life of his own.

He doesn't think things can get any better. He's a single, successful architect with his own firm, living and playing in downtown Houston. What more could he want out of life?

Just when he believes everything is perfect, Maddie shatters his illusions by revealing their family's furry secret. Now his sister is growling and running around on four legs while trying to convince him he has an inner wolf of his own. And if that's not bad enough, he's falling in love with a woman who occasionally has more hair on her legs than he does.

So, what's Michael's response to all the changes in his life? He denies everything!

  2. Good Morning Author Island! It's a great pleasure to be here today to celebrate book 2 of the Wolfen Heritage going to print. Book 3 of the trilogy, Changing Their Wolfen Heritage, came out in eBook on Nov 15th at Siren/Bookstrand. So now, you've got the whole story from beginning to end - or do you? :)

The Wolfen Heritage series is about 2 families. Remus, the Alpha of the Wind River Pack, lives with his brothers Latan and Ethan on a mountain in Wyoming. They've never known anything but the shifter way of life. Maddie and her brother Michael were raised as human and don't know their grandmother was a full-blooded shifter. Do they have a wolf living somewhere inside them?

Remus quickly discovers Maddie's his mate and book one, Discovering Her Wolfen Heritage, is about their courtship, Maddie's coming to grips about her heritage, and their united fight against a corrupt, evil doctor who wants to study the wolves and will do anything to get his hands on Maddie.

Book 2, which just came out in print, is Michael's story. He can't accept or believe there might be a wolf living inside him and to make it worse, he's falling in love with a female shifter.

Book 3, Changing Their Wolfen Heritage, is the story of Latan and Ethan. They're convinced they've found their mate. Unfortunately, they've both decided on the same woman. Wolves don't share their mates - or do they?

Is this the end of the trilogy? I think not :) I've got plans on re-visiting the series and expanding it to cover a few new characters that are introduced in book 3 so keep watching on my website. Sign up for my newsletter and be the first to know when the next episode is coming out.

Now, who has questions for me - be sure and leave your email address because at the end of the day one of you will be able to pick which of my books you'd like to read and I'll send it to you in a pdf download!

  3. Hi, Missy! Glad to hear that isn't the end of things! I do so love when characters and a world grab an author and we readers get to enjoy more of them!

So, you're a veteran author now! Do you feel differently about releases now? Is there anything you do to celebrate each new one? :)

  4. Good morning Flchen1 - I'm not sure I consider myself a "veteran" author because I still feel like such a "newbie." I've not even been a writer for 2 years yet! I'm still at the stage where I freak out and am stunned when I sign a new contract. I've just signed 2 new contracts - 1 with Siren for the release of "Catch Her When She Falls" which is the sequel to my first book, "Table for Three." And I signed my first contract with eXtasy Books for a book titled "The Magic in Her Gift." I reacted in a way that's becoming very familiar to my husband - I squealed, and jumped up and down scaring my poor cats :) I hope I always that that reaction.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by this morning and have a great Holiday Season.

  9. Hi Cathy M, I like to fix a bunch of comfort finger foods - chicken fingers, cheese sticks, spicy meatballs, popcorn, grilled tomatoe cheese sandwiches - you get the drift. We take our finger foods, along with a nice bottle of wine or champagne, and curl up on the couch with pillows and blankets. We turn down all the lights so only the lights from the television and the Christmas tree are visible and we watch a marathon of Christmas movies. We do this on Christmas Eve. We watch about 4 different versions of Scrooge, Miracle on 34th Street, The Ref, Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation, and the Home Alone movies. It's pretty much an all night thing. Then around midnight we exchange gifts, many times making love on the floor in front of the tree. Needles to say we don't have children in my house :) Just us adults.

Hope you have a happy holiday season and thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today.

  23. Hello Sherry, My favorite genre to read has always been paranormal, menage shapeshifter. And I have started 2 new books. One is a paranormal time-travel that takes you back to 1571 Nevada. It's a menage that's set in an old mining town. The other book is a futuristic, paranormal set on another planet with a company that provides Space Brides for various races. This book is part of a series and the first one is a menage with 3 brothers on another plane that need a bride to share.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
