Celebrating Cheryl Dragon's Sexy New Menage FLY BOYS

Today we're celebrating the release of FLY BOYS, Cheryl Dragon's sexy contemporary menage with Resplendence Publishing.

A lover of unusual things, Cheryl Dragon enjoys writing unique stories with sinfully hot erotic romance or suspenseful mainstream paranormals. Never at a loss for ideas, there are plenty of stories in her brain waiting to be written. Her two favorites book settings are Las Vegas and New Orleans...where anything can happen!

Cheryl lives in the Chicagoland area with her deaf albino cat. By day she crunches & analyzes numbers as an Assistant Controller for a division of a large international conglomerate which leaves the creative juices free for her erotic romance and paranormal suspense novels.

FLY BOYS by Cheryl Dragon

For Laura, dating Craig, an air force pilot, has been nothing but great. Bonding with Craig's three housemates who served with him has been an experience in military closeness and deep admiration for men in uniform. The news that they've shared everything, including women, is arousing and a bit of a challenge. And Laura wants to take it on.

The guys ease her into action, and soon, she can't imagine life any other way....even if one of the guys is a bit reserved with her. But Laura's biggest adjustment will be to their weird work schedule. Three months on duty and three months on her!

  1. Morning Cheryl and super congrats on the new release!!!

I've been waiting for this one - FOUR sexy men in uniform - what's not to love!!!! And what a cover - I LOVE IT!

Tell us a bit about the book and how it came to be and any plans for more military heroes?

Best of luck with FLY BOYS and I hope it's your biggest seller yet!

  3. Hey Everyone!!

    Thanks Sandy:)

Fly Boys is one I've been waiting for too. I love these guys! But sometimes with Menage +....it's tricky to make it realistic. I want it to seem natural and like it could really happen. So the military piece is critical in this story. Also its just very hot!!:)

The military bond among the men and the odd schedule they keep made it logical for me. These guys work 3 months at an Air Force Base and then are off for three months. Weird!

So they've shared everything, including women. But the right woman finally came into their life. She's dating one of them and loves them all like friends but can she handle four men in bed?? She's eager to find out!

I hope the readers enjoy it as much as I do!!!

  6. Hi Ina,

Well my albino cat is one unusual thing. I got her from a shelter and had no idea she was deaf until she was a few months old. she followed her sister around so it all seemed normal.

But I've always been weird. when i was a kid, my favorite stuffed toy was a frog. i still have him:)

    thanks!

  7. Hi Elaing8!

Never say never! I'm sure the Fly Boys have friends in similar set ups and challenges...military men are so hard to resist!!

I do have a menage + series starting in February so there is plenty more Menage+ coming...

    thanks!

  9. I'm wondering how the relationships in Fly Boys are going to play out and if everything is really as it seems. It's gotten my attention.

  10. Hi Leni,

well my characters always end up happy at the end! I'd never let them be disappointed. Menage + can be intense.

the first menage + i tried only had 3 men so I'm ramping it up here...but I think 4 is enough:)

  11. Hey Jolene,

Well I'll just say make sure you read the notes they put in! Menage can go in many directions.

Fly Boys is menage +. Four men, one woman...and there is some m/m activity between two of the guys.

So if you're not into a certain thing....you need to make sure you read all the categories and warnings good pubs give you so you don't buy something that won't light your fire!

But look out! Menage is addictive...reading and writing:)

Right now I'm working on a m/m for the Raider's Bodyguard Series. Backing Brian comes out in March and it has a very very hot cover...It's so much fun to play with men falling in love with each other.

If you want to see the cover, check out the coming soon page at www.cheryldragon.com and you can't miss those hot men!

  19. Hi Sherry!

I write erotic romance of almost all sorts. Mostly menage, menage + is my latest obsession....I also write m/m, light bdsm, and occassionally a paranormal.

My backlist is sort of long but my new website breaks it down by publisher so people can browe easier...

    hopefully something for everyone!

  20. Hey JoAnna,

    Thanks!

I have friends whose husbands are in the service (air force and others) so I use their expertise.

None of the fly boys I know are mine personally....but I do get the details from sources who have men in the military;)

  27. Wow, this sounds incredibly good, Cheryl--it's got lots of the elements I love, plus it's a Cheryl story! ;) Is this a one-off, or will you be working this in as part of a series? :)

  28. So far Fly Boys is a stand alone. The story is tight on the group because it's a novella...but if the theme of Air Force hotties is popular enough...hey these guys work on a base full of them:)

Truthfully I wrote Hot Holiday Houseguests and Fly Boys both as stand alones. I wanted to try writing menage + and make sure it wasn't too much. I love writing it actually! so who knows what stories can blossom?

But I have a menage + series scheduled for 2011, the first one comes out in Feb and I love the wonderful twist that gets it started.

    Thanks!

I just wish I had more time to read...but writing must come first:)

  40. Congratulations from me too on the new release. I enjoyed the excerpt, but I was hoping for a little more heat, which I'm sure the rest of the book has, to give my day a boost, I guess my Twix will have to do. I've read a few quad stories before (Maya Banks wrote some of them) and it will be interesting to see how you handle the logistics cause half the time I'm trying to work out what's going on in my mind. Where are all 16 limbs???

  44. I loved hot Holiday Houseguests and Pushing Penny. And I do mean LOVED them. But I am going to get into trouble if I keep sneaking book after spending my book budget back in Oct. How do you keep coming out with books back to back? You must do nothing but write (and I know you have a day job!)?

And now you've given us military men? Oh, boy! Or should I say boys!

Congrats on another release for this year!
