Celebrating Charisma Knight's New Christmas Romance

Today we're celebrating the release of ALONE, a new 25 Days of Christmas fantasy romance from Silver Publishing and Charisma Knight!

Charisma lives in the Maryland area with her darling daughters and her overactive imagination. Her love for vampires prompted her to pursue writing in March 2009.Vampires are her first love. Werewolves, ghosts, and dragons follow close behind. She writes of old or "cursed" souls who are reincarnated over the sands of time. Quite often these souls must atone for past sins they care not to remember before fulfilling their destinies. Her stories contain an erotic wild edge with a little fantasy sprinkled within. On occasion, one will discover some stories deal with real life situations. There are certain trials and tribulations everyone faces while walking down that cobblestone road called life. Charisma enjoys writing about how her characters triumph over the hurdles in their existence.

ALONE - A 25 Days Of Christmas Story from Charisma Knight

After experiencing a traumatic childhood, Darcelle Campbell carries scars that never healed into her adult life. Her guardian angel is placed on earth to prevent her from suffering a tragic event on Christmas Eve.

However, Jack can only do so much. It is Darcelle who must change for the better to ensure the dark event never occurs. In addition to this, she must open her heart to Harley, or lose everything.

Will she tear down the walls she's worked so hard to construct over the years, and allow herself to experience love from a man who strives to stay by her side no matter what, or will she forfeit it all, and succumb to the tragic event foretold by Jack?

  1. Morning Charisma and super congrats on having a story included in Silver Publishing's 25 Days of Christmas Series!!!

There's some great stories in that series and yours sounds really good too - can't wait to read it!

Tell us a bit about how the story can to be and what you're working on now.

Best of luck with the release and hope it's your biggest seller yet!

  2. Morning DeNita, and thank you! Yes, the entire series is awesome!

This story hits close to home because I know what it's like to throw up walls, and locking others out. It can be tough sharing your thoughts and fears with someone else. Some people go through their entire lives blocking others out. My heroine, Darcelle is such a person who experienced trauma as a child around Christmas time. Unfortunately, she's carried her scars around for years. It's so easy to remain locked away in your own personal prison, keeping everyone at bay. That way no one can hurt you anymore. It takes so much effort to release yourself from that personal prison while allowing yourself to "feel," and be loved by others.

Jack is Darcelle's guardian angel, sent to earth to help Darcelle from a dark event that will occur on Christmas Eve.

I'm working on a story for Beautiful Trouble Publishing called "Menage Unchained." We hope to have this one released some time this month.

  10. Readers, I also wanted to let you know about my newest story, Claiming the Slayer over at interracialerotica.net. This story is going to be turned into a short novella, but very well may go into a novel, not sure yet, it depends on the way the story flows. I think you all may enjoy this.

There are sooo many erotic stories over at Tracy Ames' site. She's a friend and fellow author who is always lending a helping hand. You all should check the site out when you get the chance.

Now, the natives are getting restless, leaving now. ha ha!!

  14. Flchen1 ~ Thank you so much!

Linda ~ Thank you. Well, I'm hoping you like Jack. He isn't your ordinary guardian angel. LOL Happy holidays to you and your family too! Blessings!

Sherry ~ Thank you very much. There are no hard stories for me to read. I have 2 lists, a TBR pile, and a TBB pile.

Now, I think a hard story for me to write is something that hits close to home. I've just recently started adding little pieces of old feelings from the past to my stories, and that can be hard to do sometimes.

  15. my bff is like Darcelle; many times she has told me that she puts up a wall and that way doesn't get hurt. I don't know how one can truly love by doing that.
Happy birthday and congrats on the book

  16. Hi Robyni ~ Yes, putting up walls is an easy thing to do. It happens not only in a romantic relationship, but regular ones too. Its a defense mechanism for those who have been deeply scarred in life and, unfortunately for most, becomes like second nature. It isn't easy to love when that happens.

Thank you Robyni for stopping by.

    Take care and good luck
