Two Lori Foster Classics Now Available In New Harlequin Release

Today we're celebrating the Harlequin reissue of two Lori Foster classics, In Too Deep and Married to the Boss in one mass market paperback.

Lori Foster first published with Harlequin in January 1996. Her second book launched Temptation Blaze and her 25th book launched Temptation Heat. Since those early days, Lori has routinely had 6 to 10 releases a year. She's a Waldenbooks, USA Today, Publisher's Weekly and New York Times bestselling author with over 50 titles published through a variety of houses, including Berkley/Jove, Kensington, St. Martins, Harlequin and Silhouette.

Lori believes it's important to back to the community as much as possible, and for that reason she ran special contests in conjunction with a publisher, facilitating many first sales for new authors. She routinely organizes events among authors and readers to gather donations for various organizations.

Along with her good friend, Dianne Castell, Lori hosts a very special annual "Reader & Author" event in West Chester Ohio. Proceeds from the event go to benefit worthy causes, including the Hamilton County YWCA Battered Women's Shelter, the Animal Adoption Foundation, and The Conductive Learning Center for children with spina bifida and cerebral palsy. BEWITCHED, the Harlequin reissue of two Lori Foster classics, In Too Deep and Married to the Boss, is now available.

In Too Deep
P.I. Harry Lonnigan wasn't fooled by her disguise. The waif dressed as a boy, who was about to blow his cover and maybe get herself killed, was every inch a woman. His first priority should have been reuniting Charlie with her estranged father - but her first priority was to seduce Harry, and before Harry knew it, he was in too deep.

Married to the Boss
Dana Dillinger had been R.J. Maitland's right hand for years - loyal, dependable... and hopelessly, secretly in love with him. So when he popped the question to prove he wasn't the playboy the press labeled him, she accepted his "proposal." But where R.J. envisioned a marriage in name only, Dana refused to settle for anything less than his heart....

WIN - Leave Lori a comment or question today at her Cyber Launch Party and your name goes in the hat for a three back of autographed books from Lori Foster's backlist! You must leave your email address to be included in today's drawing, so we can contact you if you are today's winner - Good Luck!

  1. Happy Release Day Lori!

Wow - I love this cover, the purple is so deep and rich and such a sexy couple. Harlequin has done a fantastic job with the covers of your recent reissues.

I think it's really great that your older work is being made available for your new readers, and those of us who haven't had the chance to read some of these out of print and hard to find books of yours.

I know you've come a long way as a writer, but when you have a favorite author, it's great to be able to collect all their work.

I noticed on your website that the date is set for next year's readers and writers get together and that registration opens in January, right? Can't wait!!!

Hope the writing is going well - tell us what you've got coming up!

Have a great day today and best of luck with today's release!

  11. Thanks all!
DeNita, yup, the date is set and registration opens in January for the next "Reades and Authors Get Together." :-)

Dawne, I look forward to meeting you!

Donna, thanks. I hope you enjoy the books. But know that "Married to the Boss" is part of a continuity, so some of the threads don't tie up. Continuities are a series of books written by different authors with a thread that carries over from one author to the next. So far, that book has been confusing the heck out of readers!

    Hugs to all,

    Lori

  12. I must have really gotten a jump on this......bought and read it last weekend!

The continuity thing makes sense because I was wondering what the heck happened after Thanksgiving dinner!

  18. Yeah! I love re-released books. So often libraries and bookstores don't have earlier works when you are looking for them, so I try and grab up the re-released when they come out.

Congrats. I can't wait to read them.

The description for "Married to the Boss" sounds really familiar...I'm pretty sure I might have read that one the first time around, but I don't think I've read "In Too Deep".

    Love your books!

  47. Thank you everyone! Whenever the older books are reissued, I sort of wince and hope that they've managed to stand the test of time.
I really like to think I've become a better writer with each book, and if that's true, then what can I say about the earliest books? LOL

Hope this is a wonderful Wednesday for everyone!

    Hugs,

    Lori

    ReplyDelete
  48. Rebecca C - yes, I often incorporate funny stuff that I see into my stories! I won't say what or which stories so you'll have to guess. LOL

    Hugs!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Tracy D - booktrailers... I'd say it depends on the booktrailer, if it's different from the others, if it captures the tone of the book. I still do a trailer for most new books. If nothing else, they're a lot of fun! But it's almost impossible to figure out what helped with sales, and what didn't. You can't credit any one particular thing - beyond a book that resonates with readers - for success. :-)

    Hugs,

    Lori

  50. Congrats Lori!

My question to you is this......and I may have asked this before BUT.....have any of the men..ever... been slightly based on your hubby? Even just a little bit and if so..WHO???!...:)

    mikeleeann87@charter.net

    ReplyDelete
  51. LeeAnn - LOL. Hubby has a shirt that says, "Not on the cover, but in the pages." And another that says, "She gets all her ideas from me." ;-)
In one way or another, all of the guys are based off my hubby. He's the funniest, most dedicated, loving and responsible guy I know.

    Hugs,

    Lori
