Celebrating Judith Rochelle's New Release In Her The Protectors Series

Today we're celebrating the print and ebook release of ECHOES, a new book in The Protector's Series of hot romantic suspense by Judith Rochelle (you might know her better as Desiree Holt!).

Judith Rochelle, also writing as Desiree Holt, has lived a life of excitement that brings the color to her writing. She was a summer fishing guide, a summer field hand where she was one of only three women working, a member of a beginning ski team that skied in competition (and no, no broken bones!). She spent several years in the music business representing every kind of artist from country singer to heavy metal rock bands. For several years she also ran her own public relations agency handling any client that interested her.

She is twice a finalist for an EPIC E-Book Award, a nominee for a Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award, winner of the first 5 Heart Sweetheart of the Year Award at The Romance Studio, and is published by four different houses. Romance Junkies said of her work: "Desiree Holt is the most amazing erotica author of our time and each story is more fulfilling then the last."

ECHOES - Book three in Judith Rochelle's The Protectors Series

Just when Alexis Craig thought she'd finally gotten her life on a somewhat even keel, the terrible nightmares returned and then, out of nowhere, a stalker threatened her. First it was notes left at her office, then photos, then faxes and emails. Nick Vanetta, sinfully sexy partner in Guardian Security, thinks there's more behind this than just a simple fixation, and when someone takes a shot at Alexis, he wonders if the answer is buried somewhere in her past. As the two dig deeper into her family history, the chemistry between them heats to boiling. Can they find the stalker before it's too late?

And just in case you missed this summer's release of book two in Judith's Protector's Series:

BOOMERANG - Book two in Judith Rochelle's The Protectors Series

When Katya "Kat" Lombardo wakes up in the den of her partner's palatial home with a gun in her hand and his dead body on the floor beside her, she knows she's in big trouble. She has no recollection of the events leading up to this, or how or why she has this gun. She calls on the only person she feels she can trust, Zak Delaney, her former lover who she broke with after a bitter argument. But can Zak put aside his bitterness to help her? As she runs from the people trying to kill her, people who destroy her home, and her business and definitely want to destroy her, will the chemistry still there between them sizzle to the surface or will it explode and demolish them both?

  7. Hi all. Thanks for stopping by. Elizabeth, I wrote under my own name to begin with but when I began publishing erotic romance I thoguht I should keep the genres separate. Go figure everyone swooped down on the erotics! But as Desiree I ahve such an established brand now that I'm phasing out Judith, although mnay of those books are still available.

  8. Hi Desiree,
I read both of the excerpts for the books and enjoyed the tidbit.
Do you have a certain person for the hero in mind when you were writing the stories? Where do you get ideas for the books, from the news?

    thank you,
    Gigi

  9. Hi Desiree,
Congratulations on the release of Echoes! It sounds so good!

When you mentioned above that you were phasing out Judith, does that mean you are mostly going to write erotic books? Do you think you will ever combine the genres and release the books written under your name Judith Rochelle with your Desiree Holt name?

  12. Wow! So many question! Okay,. One at a time.
    1. I always have a visual of m,y hero when I write a book. slmetimes I know who he resembles at once, toehr times I surf the Net for pictures of hunks.
    2. Where do I get my ideas
From everywhere. The idea for Echoes, for example, came from a tiny scene in a CSI episode. Another story I played What If when I read a Letter to the Editor in the local paper. I just have a wild imagination.
    3. Will there be more books in this series? Yes, I'll be telling Reno's story but written by Desiree.
    4. Will I revise Judith books to release under Desiree?
Absolutely. I am in the process as we speak of revising my Phoenix Agency books. The first one, Jungle Inferno, will be released in June 2011. Hope you decide to read it!
