Award-winning author G. A. Hauser spearheads Logical-Lust’s new M/M erotica and erotic romance line, with the release of GOT MEN? Today we welcome author GA Hauser and celebrate her new release!
“I was born in the shadow of the Manhattan skyline in the suburbs of New Jersey in the sleepy town of Fair Lawn. I graduated Fair Lawn High and went to college in Manhattan at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and graduated with honors with bachelor's degree at William Paterson College. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts I gave up the idea of being a starving artist and headed for Seattle. For over a decade I lived in Rain City, and the last eight of those I wore a blue police uniform working for the Seattle Police Department as a patrol officer.I’ve been writing since 1990 but it wasn’t until I reached the wet British Isles that I published my first book, In The Shadow of Alexander. I lived in Hertfordshire, England for six years and from there I was able to travel and see the wonders of the world. I am back in the good ol’ USA once again and believe me, there’s no place like home.”

GOT MEN?
New novel takes a look at a different reality.
Like it or not reality television shows have become a staple in modern culture. Our curiosity to be the ‘fly-on-the-wall’ and watch other people’s trials and tribulations is now a huge percentage of mainstream primetime viewing.
In the reality show Got Men? six young men are selected – they assume randomly – for their participation as housemates in an isolated location in Nevada. The purpose of their stay is never revealed to them.
This novel examines ratings versus human frailty and deeply personal lives. How much of our intimate secrets are we willing to reveal to the universe? These six outgoing, handsome men struggle to come to terms with in a society that still does not give them equal rights to marry, serve in the military, or allow them to live without fear of discrimination.
The set up for the big ‘reveal’ on Got Men? is more than just a simple decision. It’s about taking a risk. The producers of the show want the subjects to take that chance, because to them, ratings mean everything.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to AuthorIsland GA and super congrats on the new release! It sounds really good and I love the reality TV plot.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to kick off a new line for Logical-Lust Publications! I wish you and Logical-Lust the very best with it - hope it's a bestseller for you both!
Thank you for your best wishes! I'm very excited about this book, and for Chris Salvatore to be the cover model. He was as thrilled to do it for me as I was to have him do it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great book I haven't read any of your books but I have seen them before. Do you only write m/m books or do you write m/f books too? If you write both which is easier for you to write?
ReplyDeletesstrode@scrtc.com
I mostly write M/M books. And I do prefer writing those to M/F books. I think it's what my fans expect from me, and I do love it. Check out my website and take a peek. I have a free download, Hauser's Guide that has a list of all my novels and where all the characters show up, as well as their bios. It's a good place to start to enter my universe.
ReplyDeleteIt was great spending some of my day with you- anyone who wants to email me about any of my books, feel free at anytime to contact me. I wish you all a wonderful weekend! GA

I have become a huge fan of books in the m/m genre. I find them sexy and exciting to read and am glad you're releasing another new book. What do you think it is that draws women to this genre and has led to the explosion of the genre's popularity?

This is a fascinating concept for a book and I'd like to know how it came to be.

You're a new to me author, I'll be checking out your free guide to your books on your website. That's a great idea for readers, thank you.
ReplyDeleteHow long have you been writing? And what subgenre are most of your m/m books in?
Hi Danny! Thanks for the well wishes and high recommendations! (big hugs!)
ReplyDeleteHello, Anna! Thank you for the kind words, please be sure to let me know what you think after reading Got Men? Regards, GA
ReplyDeleteHi Joderjo,
ReplyDeleteI think women like the idea of two hunks getting together. It's perfectly acceptable for two men to like two women mud-wrestling or kissing. I should think it would stand to reason women want that kind of sexual excitement as well. When I see two men kiss I light up like a sparkler!
Hi Leni,
ReplyDeleteThe idea for Got Men? was born on the constant influx of reality TV shows. I think about the risk the contestants take to bare all on these shows and of course, with gay rights a constant political hot topic, I thought it was time to show their struggle as well. I believe civil rights belong to everyone, not just straight people.
Thank you Estella for your warm wishes. I hope you take the leap and read one of my novels. You never know, you may even like it. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tracy D! That was a very kind thing to say. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Katie,
ReplyDeleteYes, the guide is very helpful because I've created a universe not just a story. The more you read them, the more you will recognize each part the characters play. It's a huge concept, but one I think my readers have come to expect from me now. My fans are very sharp, and I know they can handle any of the madness I throw at them! :-} I do have some paranormal, a mystery, a thriller, two straight romances, but my fans want my steamy hot gay romance, so that's what they get.
Again, thank you for having me, and for all the wonderful comments. Please email me at any time if you have any questions.
