USA Today best-selling Author, Rosemary Laurey is an expatriate Brit, retired special ed teacher and grandmother, who now lives in Ohio and has a wonderful time writing stories of vampires and shapeshifting pumas.
For Special Investigations Agency Operatives Destiny Tremayne, Jenna MacDonald and Nur Aydan, Christmas isn’t all about celebrating.
Nur Aydan, a moroii—a living vampire—accepts a commission in the UK, investigating investment of terrorist funds. The supposedly routine job has Nur involved in a local protest over rights-of-way, rescuing demonstrators from attackers, using her moroii abilities to thwart terrorists…
And falling in love.
Publisher’s Note: Novella originally appeared in the Ellora’s Cave anthology Winter Warriors.

Congrats Rosemary on your new release! I enjoy a good paranormal romance! Hope you have a very happy holiday season!
ReplyDeleteDid you use a great deal of story telling in the classroom and did that make you want to write?
ReplyDelete@ Viginia
ReplyDeleteMay you have a wonderful Christmas too..
A Leni
ReplyDeleteI used to read a great deal to my classes- a wide range, poetry, fiction, non fiction. As for why I started writing. I had three sons in College and we needed some extra money to pay the tuition bills.
Congrats on your new release!
ReplyDeleteI love vampire stories.

I really enjoyed your Brytewood books. The time period and the individual personalities of the community members made for great reading. This story sounds equally good and I hope Santa decides to bring me it as a gift.
ReplyDeleteYour new book sounds great. I would love to read it.
ReplyDelete@Joder: So glad you enjoyed the Brytewood books- I had a wonderful time writing them. Turkish Delight is very different- but I got rather fond of Nur.

Hi Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteI love the premise of this book. Having both vampires and the whole terroist take sounds intriguing and current to our real world... and with the holiday setting is perfect for this time of year (not the terrorist thing but the Christmas thing).
@ booklover.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun... and for it I renamed an actual stone circle - Hollrigg, which really is privately owned.. I visited it ten years or so ago when it was for sale- couldn't afford to buy it !
Martha:
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for coming by
Maybelle: Good to see you here.
ReplyDeleteOh shoot, I missed the party...doing the Christmas thing...but wanted to stop by and say hello and to tell you I just love your work. I've read most of everything you've written and wanted to ask if this was reworked for the reissue.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to ask what's coming up next for you (or your other pen names)? I look forward to many more stories from you!
Happy holidays and great to find you here!
Thanks to everyone for stopping by to celebrate with Rosemary yesterday!
