Today we're celebrating the print release of DEAD DONE RIGHT by Lizzie T. Leaf.
Lizzie is known for her 'humor with heat'. She has numerous e-books in varying lengths and her print book, Struck by Lightning, won the 2007 Beacon award for Erotic Romance and tied for Best First Novel, in addition to being a finalist in Author Island's Reader's Choice Award and Colorado Romance Writer's Award of Excellence. Her Novella, Dead Faint was a 2008 Nominee for Best Vampire at Love Romances Cafe.
Since discovering the fun of writing paranormal, she plays with creating vampires, faeries and other immortals. Currently she is working on a full length paranormal novel set in Scotland that brings in Celtic folklore and a couple of 'godly' realms. Mix them together and there will be laughs for sure and an agent has requested a look at this one.
In addition, she created a hot new series for Aspen Mountain Press that centers around older women/younger men. BARELY LEGAL, the first book in the "Cougar Club" series released January 2009. This is a series is also be open for other authors to contribute to.
When not chained to the computer keyboard, Lizzie enjoys time with her family, reading other authors and traveling with her husband.

DEAD DONE RIGHT includes two of Lizzie T. Leaf's trademark 'humor with heat' stories about the problems modern day women have when they discover they are now vampires.
WAKING UP DEAD - From Haute Couture and Manolo Blaniks to stripping for a paycheck. Waking Up Dead sure puts a crimp in a girl's lifestyle and puts her in the mood for blood.
DEAD FAINT - Billie Joyce thought waking up as a vampire was bad, but fainting at the sight of her new main food source could make life difficult. Plus, she has to contend with Daniel, a bossy older than dirt vampire, who is getting on her nerves. Why does he keep muttering "I'm no Henry Higgins"?

Super congrats on the new print release Lizzie!!! And congrats on the third book in the series DEAD HUNTER coming out in ebook this month as well! I love this series, as you know, you write with such a great sense of humor and your characters are unforgetable!
ReplyDeleteHow many more books do you see in this series and how are the books related?
I have to admit you are a new author to me. I do enjoy a good paranormal story and one with humor makes it even better.
ReplyDeleteThank you, AI. Glad you enjoy the series.
ReplyDeleteThere is at least one more book planned for the series and it's scheduled for 2010. Also, (fingers crossed) there will be a print duo of the new book and Dead Hunter later in 2010.
The books relate through the character connections. Dovey, the heorine in the first book, Waking Up Dead, continues to be there for the new heroine/hero, as does other characters from prior books.
I hope you check mine out, Linda. Would love to hear from you after you do.
ReplyDeleteLIZZIE!!!!!!

Lovely but hectic, Lizzie. Just enjoying our one day of freedom between visitors :)
ReplyDeleteMarie
Understand the visitors...have them off and on through Friday.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new release! Also very excited about your Cougar series. 'Bout time we older ladies get in on the fun! Do you see that series continuing through quite a few more books?
ReplyDeleteHey Lizzie,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the release. I've read all your books Lizzie and LOVE them! Just read Dead Hunter recently. I love how you mix humor with a great story!!!
Like Marie I had a hectic but wonderful Christmas. Now things have been quiet, but I'm expecting more madness and mayhem for New Year!!

ReplyDeleteLizzy I love your work ! congrats on the new release sounds awesome
ReplyDeleteHi Joder,
ReplyDeleteThanks on the release congrats.
You're so right about "wiser" ladies getting in on the fun! Yes, the Cougar series is an open ended series to which other authors contribute. Helen Hardt's book just released earlier in Dec. and Sam Cheever has one coming out in Jan/Feb. I'm also working on another one for later in 2010.
Hey Val,
ReplyDeleteGlad you like my books!
Yeah, the New Year is shapping up to be just as crazy as this one. Well, better that than sitting around staring at the ceiling...right?
Right, Lizzie...lol!!!
