DeleteI'm thrilled with the buzz my girls are getting! Yes, girls. BELLA KEY is a female/female erotic romance! What I love about the story is it's first and foremost a romance. It just happens to be between two women, Maddie and Sunny.
Maddie is at a crossroads in her life and doesn't know what she wants. She takes a little down time from a business trip and travels to Key West to escape and think. Maddie ends up at Sunny's Bed and Breakfast, Casa Bonita, on Bella Key. Maddie and Sunny help each other heal in different ways.
There's also a fun character, Jules Quigley, introduced about halfway in. I can't say much without giving away the story, but I will say Jules is based on a real romance author.

I don't visit Key West enough! I do love Florida and had the opportunity to live on Sanibel Island for a couple of years. Sanibel is tamer than Key West but so beautiful.

DeleteMy favorite part of FF fiction is the connection between two women. Women are intimate with each other, even outside of a sexual relationship. They can talk about anything and everything. When women click together, a relationship is formed that's unlike that of a man and a woman.
I love to take that special connection flesh out the emotions and intimacy formed with women characters.

DeleteI love to write powerful love scenes packed with emotion. With the M/F dynamic, my heroes are always Alpha and the heroine breaks down his tough exterior to find his vulnerability.
Women wear their emotions on their sleeves. For the most part, they are intimate, vulnerable and open with each other. I love that dynamic. It begs for a gentle and honest love scene.
