Celebrating Tianna Xander's First Siren Publishing Release

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a sexy new historical sci-fi menage for Tianna Xander and Siren Publishing.

MAIL-ORDER BRIDE by Tianna Xander

A Taos Wolven Mates Book
Sent from their home world in search of viable mates for their people, Lorcan Teb and Tarin Harunis come to nineteenth-century Earth hoping to find that humans are genetically compatible with their kind. They get their wish in one Dana Worely, mail-order bride. Can they convince their mate she’s bound not for one man, but two?

When Dana answers a plea for a mail-order-bride, hoping to escape her uncle’s clutches, she boards a train bound for the Dakota Territory. Accepting the marriage proposal of a man she’s never met seems infinitely better than living the rest of her life in her uncle’s house of ill repute.

Kidnapped on her way to meet the man she agreed to marry, Dana finds she must accept two unexpected men into her life. On a strange sky ship, Dana finds that she must rely on her own resourcefulness to survive.

Tianna Xander is the author of several paranormal, time-travel and science fiction romance novels. She loves reading everything from romance novels, murder mysteries and encyclopedias, to handbooks on solar energy. Tianna is the first to admit she spends far too much time surfing the internet and chatting with her online friends and critique groups.

Having written several novels and working on at least one more at any given time -- Tianna still finds time for her family, friends and her many pets. She currently lives in Michigan with her husband, two children, three cats, two big dogs and one occasionally terrorized Netherland Dwarf bunny. Her life is anything but boring.

  2. Hey Tianna,

I already know what a good book Mail Order Bride is. My question - what direction will the Taos series take next? Will you stay in the past, old west, or maybe do futuristic episodes? Again, really enjoyed the book.

  3. Congratulations on the new release. I am terribly fond of paranormal and sci fi romance. Peeked at your website and read about your goal of getting a new book out each month. That sounds rather extraordinary to me. Have you always been such a fast writer?

Are you still going to write more books in your other series'? I love your Dragon Bound one :D

  5. Thanks, Denita!

I apologize for not posting earlier. I had an appointment earlier that I was sure was only going to take an hour or so. All the best liad plans, huh? LOL

Taos Wolven Mates is my new series designed especially for Siren and I'm very happy it's receiving the attention it's getting. I never expected it to make the top ten. I'm very excited about that as well.

This series is going to jump all over the place with the sensient ship playing a key roll in the series. I think I've managed to dream up an original series idea that will do well across many different sub-genre of Paranormal Romance.

  6. Missy,

I hope each book of the series will come as something of a surpirse, a new twist on an old plot or just something totally new.

Yes, there will be some sci-fi, some contemporary and possibly something in between. After all, the Taos warriors are here to protect Earth. They could be changing history, as we speak. :-)

  7. Lil,

Yes, I've always written rather fast. I've currently got over 50 books in my backlist and that's not counting 17 that are no longer available. My first release was the end of July, 2006. I think I've already averaged a book a month, I just never paced it out like that.

  8. Ilona,

Yes, I still plan to finish my other series. I couldn't leave you all hanging on what happens next. :-)

Look for May's story to be next in the Dragon Bound series and look for A Summer in Paradise to come next in the Paradise series.

I've added Siren to my publishers. I haven't dropped Extasy Books or Devine. How could I? I still have many books to write in series there. :-)

  9. Thank you all for posting and asking such great questions! Now that I'm home, I'll be popping in and out on occasion to see new posts so please don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have. :-)

  10. Congratulations on the book! What's your favorite book of yours that you've written?

  11. I think my favorite is Brianna's Prophecy. It was the first book I had ever written and more fantasy than any other book I've written.

It's about an American Wiccan who is kidnapped and taken to a far-off planet because she fits the description of the woman who is supposed to save their world.

I've been told it's epic, but I'm not sure I would go that far. LOL

  12. Congratulations on your new release!!

Do you find it difficult or daunting combining worlds?

  13. Marybelle,

I love combining worlds. I usually have to combine worlds in my books, whether it's an ancient vampire with old fashioned ideas, an alien with other-worldly ideas or a shifter from another country with different values.

I love it when characters are so different and need to learn how to accept and get alone despite their differences.

    Thanks for asking!

  14. Congrats on making the best seller listing so very quickly! And well deserved I might say.
What I would like to ask is if you have one particular theme you favor more than others? Your books are so very varied, that in one I might read of shifting polar bears, another a vampire, another aliens for example. But is there one type you have a particularly soft spot for?

  15. Christine,

I love both shifters and vampires. That's why all of my vampires can shape shift. I've loved Vampires since I read my first Christine Feehan book in the late 1990s.

However, Shapeshifting aliens are also on the top of the list. LOL I guess I jut love them all, which is probably why my series vary as much as they do.

I love pretty much all things paranormal including Gods, superheroes and witches\mages\sorcerers. If it's paranormal I like it, if it's weird, I probably write it. :-)

    Great question. Thanks for asking!
