Celebrating A New Release For Wendi Zwaduk

Today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating a sexy new release from Wendi Zwaduk and Total-e-Bound Publishing.

It’s 1970. The world is in upheaval. Can two people really make a difference and find love at the same time?

Noel Flynt signed up for the Army to carry out his family duty. He never expected the travesties of Vietnam to take their toll on him. He’s coming back to the world he thought he knew. With everything changing around him, he’s going to have to learn he can’t live in the past.

Cindy Stephens couldn’t wait for Noel to return. She sees the man within the uniform and has loved him for as long as she can remember. But times have changed. She’s not the timid school girl any longer. Can she accept his changes, too?

The only constants are time and love.

Reader Advisory – Contains one war hero, the woman who loves him, lots of hot sex, with a little spanking mixed in for good measure.

Wendi Zwaduk always dreamt of writing the stories in her head. Tall, dark, and handsome heroes are her favorites, as long as he has an independent woman keeping him in line. She earned a BA in education at Kent State University and currently holds a Masters in Education with Nova Southeastern University.

Wendi loves NASCAR, romance, books in general, Ohio farmland, dirt racing, and her menagerie of animals. If you like her work, tell your friends and email her. She loves hearing from readers!

Wendi is published with Total-E-Bound, Changeling Press, Liquid Silver Books, Turquoise Morning Press and The Wild Rose Press. Come join her on this fantastic journey!

  1. Happy Release Day Wendi!!

Tell us all about the new book and how emotional it had to be to write from your hero's point of view. This is historical, but it could apply to some of our boys (and girls) coming home right now. War changes people. But love heals.

How much fun did you have with the time period? I love the 70s, I'm sure you are too young to remember them!

Enjoy your party today and I hope your new book is an instant bestseller!!

    Have fun!

  3. Giggle! Hi DeNita, I'm glad to be here. So those questions. I did a lot of talking to returning vets when I got really into Noel's pov. I talked to guys who served in Vietnam and really listened. There's a lot of hurt in their voices. I watched lots of video of vets talking about their stories too. There were times when Noel would talk about what he'd seen and I'd actually cry. Yeah, it was hard. Love does help in the healing process, yes.

I had a lot of fun with the time period. Since I was a kid, Mom played what is now considered 'oldies' music. So when we listened to the record player, and yes, we had one, it was old Beatles tunes, early Elton John and Bruce Springsteen. Oh and my favorite musician, Billy Joel. I wasn't born until the end of the 70's so I honestly don't remember it, but I was a victim of the hand-me-down clothing that made up the early seventies. the short part of time i spent in the 70's was fun.

Thanks for having me. This is always so much fun!

  5. Thanks Katie! I'm glad you stopped by. I hope you enjoy my work. My favorite genre? Hmm.. Contemporary. I like writing about things that are happening right now. But, i'm Gaining a respect for Historicals. I love paranormals, too, but Contemporary erotic is my favorite. Thanks!

  6. How fun, Wendi! Congrats on the new release! It's hard to believe that this time period is now considered historical ;p Starting to feel old! ;p Do you think you'd write more stories set in this time? Do you enjoy the research aspect of writing?

  7. Thanks Fedora. I know, the idea that 1970 being historical still boggles me. I was thinking about it the other day that the songs I listened to as a kid, you know, like Born in the USA, Summer of 69, Sad Songs Say so Much, Hysteria... are all now considered oldies because most of them are almost 30 years old if not already... how crazy is that?

I'd love to write a story for the one secondary character that really doesn't have much of a role in the book. She's under appreciated so I think she'll get one eventually.

I loved doing the research, but the thing that gets me is no matter how much you're SURE you got the details right, there is always one or two that get under the radar. Other than that, the research is fun. Thanks for stopping by!
