LaVerne is the mother of two teenage girls, a wife, a former intellectual property attorney, a multi-published author, an avid reader and a writer of contemporary, fantasy, and sci/fi sensual interracial romances.She is an award winning bestselling author, and is currently working on several projects. Since one child is now driving, she no longer has to shuttle her girls to and from school and their various activities, so technically she has more time to write.
