Judith Rochelle is fortunate that life has given her a lot of experiences on which to draw for her books. She has worked on small newspapers, been a sports reporter, managed rock and Top 40 bands, worked for an attorney and a dentist (can you get much further apart than that?), showed horses in competition, worked in public television, and taught school. Before she retired, she spent a number of years in fundraising and public relations at a private university.

Now Judith lives in the Texas Hill Country with her husband, a sixth-generation Texan and her biggest inspiration. Their children are all grown and thankfully financially self-sufficient, so it’s just them and their three kittens on their six natural acres.

When she's not writing paranormal and suspense as Judith Rochelle or hot erotica as Desiree Holt, she's reading or indulging in her other grand passion—watching football.
