Celebrating A New Tabor Heights Release For Michelle Levigne

Today we're celebrating the release of A QUIET PLACE, a new novel in Michelle Levigne's Tabor Heights, Ohio Series.

A story addict since an early exposure to Dr. Seuss, award-winning author of over 30 novels and novellas, Michelle Levigne has been creating her own stories, heroes and adventures since junior high. She ventures into many sub-genres of science fiction, paranormal, romance and fantasy, including Greek mythology, Narnia spin-offs and her futuristic universe, the Commonwealth.

Michelle writes something for everyone! After all, since she likes to read all over the board, why not WRITE all over the board?

A QUIET PLACE - a new Tabor Heights novel from Michelle Levigne.

Widowed and pregnant, Jeannette Marshall returned to Tabor Heights to start a new life, seeking a quiet place to lick her wounds.

Nathan Lewis loved Jeannette, but her heart was focused on raising her son, and he made himself be content acting as a favorite uncle to BJ. Then Jeannette's cruel in-laws invaded Tabor Heights, determined to take her son from her by any means possible, shattering her serenity.

When Nathan offered marriage to help in her legal battle, Jeannette realized she wanted more than sanctuary and a quiet life. As she fought to regain her faith and her peace, she dared to try for a real family for BJ, and real love for herself.

  2. Good morning, everybody!

Can you believe we're at book FIVE already?

Of course, I'm scrambling, working on the August release, DETOURS, which coincides with several other books in the series, and features people you've met in other books. Upcoming books feature:
    * a family tragedy
    * a CCM band at the crossroads in their musical careers
    * a runaway who comes home to do philanthropic work for the foundation that saved her life
    * the man she ran away with, who has enemies from his past on his trail
    * and hints at upcoming books/events in the friendly little college town of Tabor Heights, Ohio.

If you're going to be at the Lori Foster/Dianne Castell Readers and Writers Get-Together in June, in Cincinnati, DO stop by and chat. I'd love to meet up with you. And maybe I'll have some treats JUST for Cyber Launch friends....

  3. Hi, Michelle! Congratulations on "A Quiet Place", the latest in your great "Tabor Heights" series! I love the cover--a lovely quiet place. I read the book description and the excerpt, and I can tell that it is quite an emotional story line! Many deeply personal issues to be resolved before true happiness is to be found. Sounds like my kind of read!

  7. Anybody have any questions about the series?
    About the town?
About previous books they've read or heard about in the series?

Right now, all the books take place in ONE year in the town.

I have 4 more contracted, and possibly 3 more to revise or finish writing, to finish up Year One.

Then we can get started on Year Two.

There are all sorts of things to explore in Year Two, such as following up on friends you've met in Year One, maybe see some people get married, or babies born.

I had a contest for the launch of the last Tabor Heights book, "The Family Way," and the result of the "vote" was that Lisa and Todd would have a boy and name him Nicholas.

So the birth of Nicholas Montgomery will have to happen this fall -- and it hasn't been written yet!

Plus what happens when Daniel and Lynette come home from New York as newlyweds -- should their daughter, Kat, move in with them and find out what living as a family feels like?

How about Xander and Hannah? Is Xander going to be able to wait the whole 6 months that Hannah asked for, or will he pop the question early? And when should they get married?

Lots of questions to answer -- how about some questions from you, and maybe suggestions for match-ups among the people you've met so far in Tabor Heights?
