Celebrating Marie Treanor's New Paranormal Release

All day today on our Cyber Launch Party Blog, we're celebrating the release of book two in Marie Treanor's fun paranormal series, Serafina's.

SERAFINA AND THE VIRTUAL MAN by Marie Treanor

Serafina's, Book 2

Real man versus dead man - no contest!

Dale Ewan, the wealthy owner of Genesis Gaming, has a serious poltergeist problem. In desperation, he calls on Edinburgh's unique psychic investigation agency, Serafina's.

But Sera and her hacker friend, the beautiful and aggressive Jilly, find more than one spirit haunting the ugly country house. While Sera fights the poltergeist, Jilly encounters what appears to be the ghost of Dale's brilliant ex-partner, Genesis Adam, trapped in his own new virtual reality system.

Jilly delves headlong into Adam's mystery. How did he get there? Why is he more exciting and attractive than any of the real men in her life? How are Jilly's own criminal brothers involved in his death? And what are Dale and his wife Petra hiding? Apart from the body buried in their garden...

While Jilly falls in love with the sexy, virtual ghost, Sera has problems of her own, not least the shadowy presence of the undead Founder that seems to threaten Sera, her vampire lover Blair, and all her friends.

  1. Good morning Marie and super congrats on your new release!

For those of us who aren't familiar with your Serafina's Series - can you tell us a bit more about it and how the books connect?

How many books do you plan for the series? I'm a Ghost Hunters fan, so I love the idea of a Psychic Investigation Agency as the center of a series - there's so much you can do with it! Can't wait to see what all you come up with!

Enjoy your special day and thanks for the giveaway! Hope the new release is a huge bestseller for you! Have fun!

  2. Thanks, DeNita!

"Serafina's" is a fun (and steamy!) series focusing on a psychic investigation agency in Edinburgh, Scotland. The heroine of the first book is Serafina (Sera) herself who is a true psychic but isn't above scamming the gullible in certain situations to make a fast buck!

The heroine of this book, SERAFINA AND THE VIRTUAL MAN is Sera' best friend Jilly, a computer hacker who also works for Sera. She and several other characters were first encountered in Book 1. So you get the chance to catch up with Sera and her silent vampire too :). I've found it's really fun to follow up the previous romances while concentrating on a new one!

Anyway, all the stories deal with supernatural problems which require the help of Serafina's to solve :) And I'm enjoying finding true if unlikely love for Sera and her friends :).

I plan to do five books in the series, and in each, the invisible and possibly threatening presence of the Founder (the first vampire from whom all others are descended) becomes more and more of an issue...

  4. Thank you!

And no, I'm not sure I've ever seen a ghost as such. I do remember seeing shadows on the bedroom walls when my sons were babies - and they used to smile at them as though they saw something I didn't :).
